Found out a bit more about my Mums undelivered flowers - apparently there were few if any Tesco/Sainburys/M&S flower deliveries to NIreland on Mothers Day so she wasnt alone. Its annoying as well because now I have to remember to phone Sainsburys and ask for a refund.

   someone (and I have a fair idea of who) has hit my fence/gate and bloomin wrecked it! Out the back there is an acess road, and there are few people who use it, and only one who would have had a diesel veicle (husband said it sounded like a diesel for sure) and with a bumper tough enough not to have been smashed over the road... our neighbour who brings his van home...

ANd after hubby and his mate spending so long trying to get it nce too!

JillD the flowers (via interflora) which came here today for a neighbour were promised delivery on Sunday. I think to be honest all the companies bite off much more than they can chew then fail to supply what they have been asked to.
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Evening!

I was away at the weekend so haven't planned out my meals for this week and ended up buying lunch at work. I had a cheese and tomato banjo - it seemed like a square of flaky pastry folded around some cheese and sliced tomato. It was really lovely but I'm sure it must be very easy to make - does anyone know how, are there any tricks? The thought of making pastry strikes fear into my heart! I looked it up on the bbc food website but probably far too simple, or far too Somerset, for inclusion.

House looks like a bombsite. Left OH tidying on Friday when I went away. He told me tonight that he's no good at tidying without me - don't know if that is supposed to be a complement! Still, start shorter Tuesdays tomorrow at work so hopefully that will help me get on top of it.

    Night.

;) great start to the day - bread is mouldy so i can't make packed lunches, so we will all have to buy food out. I hate that. I may pop to the cooplands or something in my free time rather than use the school canteen, but then i will end up wasting more time. Will make that decision when i see how i am getting on.

We also have snow here. I am hoping the car park has been gritted at the nursery as the last severe frost nearly made me fall, and i don't want a bruise to rival pigpens. :D

See you all this evening. Hope i have a better day than it has started.

    Michelle, x
