Evening all, today didn't go as I had planned when posting last night!
It started off pretty well, took my little madam and her friends to school, came home put washing machine on and switched work laptop on (working from home today as usual) 1025 phone goes, it's the school, little madam being sent home as ill! Picked her up, sorted her out in bed and back to work (briefly) emptied the machine, filled it again and washed dishes and tided kitchen.
New table and chairs for the kitchen arrived, DH was off today so started to build them. What a nightmare that turned out to be, I ended up having to help so no work done and no flying done either!! The instructions were hopeless, pictures did not match what we had, took 3 hours to do 3 chairs!!! The we start to put the backs onto the chairs and notice red marks from the ink that is on the safety notice attached to the chairs!!! Made a phone call to complain and ask for replacement, as it comes direct from manufacturer someone from their office will contact me later today I was told at 1430, still waiting and not at all happy. I can feel an angry phone call coming on in the morning!
We decided to build the table, the instructions were back to front and a load of rubbish, after ignoring them sussed it and had it built in 10 mins. It looks lovely sat in my kitchen, shame I can't use it as nothing to sit on!
Any way sorry for ranting on. Working from home tomorrow so have to make an effort to do some work tomorrow and also a big effort to catch up on what I missed today.
Have a good Tuesday everyone x:j Debt free since 31/01/08:j

tia, not sure with the night courses, funding changes all of the time, there are usually some free literacy/numeracy based courses, IT ones aswell which are free/cheap in community based schemes. If you contact the college where they do what you want to do and ask about funding there, taking details of CA/Tax Credit awards with you.
serena I am sure your Mam will settle in soon, will be strange for her being out of hospital etc.One day I might be more organised...........
