Hello!
I've been a bit of a lurker on the forums, posting a little but hoping to post more often!
I love making cards and in the last year I have really got into scrapbooking, I've filled an album in the space of about 10 months! I'm fairly good at making cards when I have the time and the inspiration but both have been fairly lacking recently, I hope to get back into it now that I've seen your ideas on here!
I have a question if I may? Has anyone used Fimo? I've bought a lovely pack of 8 different colours thinking that I could make some embellishments but I don't know what to make? Any ideas? I got the idea from a card magazine but they just made cats and I don't know any 'cat people'!:rolleyes:Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Oh dear............I do feel like a novice (well I am really) -don't know what half these things are, like a fimo ????
Think I've got some googling to do about it all.............I'm at the glueing and sticking stage.............lolMary

Hi Birdie, I saw some embellishments too in a card making mag.................but also they used their stamps on it, and then coloured it with ink, and then did a negative version too. Quite clever and a very cheap way of making embellishments for cardsHonorary Northern Bird bestowed by AnselmI'm a Board Guide and volunteer to help get your forum questions answered and keep the forum running smoothly on Special Occasions, Green/Ethical, Motoring/Overseas/UK Travel & Flood boards, it's not part of my role to deal with reportable posts. Hiya fellow cardmakers, I've FINALLY done mine!
Here it is:
I ended up doing a basic one in the end (ease myself back into cardmaking gently) using rubber stamps, embossing powders and a few confetti hearts. Hope you like it!
