    Hello!

I've been a bit of a lurker on the forums, posting a little but hoping to post more often!

I love making cards and in the last year I have really got into scrapbooking, I've filled an album in the space of about 10 months! I'm fairly good at making cards when I have the time and the inspiration but both have been fairly lacking recently, I hope to get back into it now that I've seen your ideas on here!

I have a question if I may? Has anyone used Fimo? I've bought a lovely pack of 8 different colours thinking that I could make some embellishments but I don't know what to make? Any ideas? I got the idea from a card magazine but they just made cats and I don't know any 'cat people'!

Hi Birdie, I saw some embellishments too in a card making mag.................but also they used their stamps on it, and then coloured it with ink, and then did a negative version too. Quite clever and a very cheap way of making embellishments for cards ;)

LOL I know what you mean, I'm new to card making too, but Fimo is a bit like this stuff I used to have as a kid, it was a blue grey colour, and you could model with it, then leave it to dry and it would harden, then you could paint it. Fimo comes in all sorts of colours, and you bake it to make it hard.........LOL that's very basic as I've never worked with it..........YET! ;)

Hiya fellow cardmakers, I've FINALLY done mine! :D Here it is:

I ended up doing a basic one in the end (ease myself back into cardmaking gently :D ) using rubber stamps, embossing powders and a few confetti hearts. Hope you like it!
