Lovely card reehsetin, maybe a few gems on the numbers? But then, I love my little sparkly gems.. I would put a few across the middle of the 4 and the same number along the bottom on the 0. But it looks great the way it is, very creative and beautiful colours.

Hi All and reehsetin, check out kisto's answer to envelopes (earlier on in thread) - hope you don't mind, kisto, they were so fab! You could make it out of some of the same paper you have used for your card - and put a label on for the address if the paper is too fussy. HTH - qs.

To make the envelopes I simply dismantle an old one I have and trace around it. I would normally line the envelope to hide what is on the inside. Sometimes you get lucky and don't need to line the envelope as it has an interesting picture inside. You also don't have to fully line it, you could just line the flap and side that faces you. Also as some magazine pages can be quite flimsy, lining it does makes it a bit stronger.

they were just a normal font, put a border around them in photoshop and printed them,
then cut out the outline with a craft knife (big pain!!) stuck it on the tissue paper and cut around :)

Any suggestions polly ? My brain's ceased up...................lol
The only thing I can think of as some sort of challenge would be to make a card using only stuff we've got around the house..........i.e. brown paper/wallpaper, buttons, -stuff like that.................

That is a good idea a fantastic idea mary right shall we say you can use a normal card and your craft tools and glue but thats it every thing else has to be recyled stuff and not from a craft shop etc so we can use things like buttons and wrapping paper and bits of old bought cards that have been sent to us?
