Ideas for card craft beginner

Polly what a super card............lovely paper and it looks so stylish. You ought to be really pleased with it:j



On a more sombre note............I really just popped on to say my Mums been rushed off to hospital, suspected stroke. She had a really bad one four years ago and has been immobile ever since but coped fairly well. Since last August though she has gone downhill so we've got to be prepared for anything. Mind you Mums done this before,rushed into hospital then back again but this time, with her being so poorly lately we never know. Just thought I'd keep you in the picture then if I'm not about as much tomorrow you'll know why.

I have 11 :eek: new baby cards to make for my NCT class and friends and relatives that are dropping at the moment. I couldn't find any toppers that I liked in Hobbycraft so I brought some of these and I'm going to make my own with layers of paper.

What's the best glue to use to stick them (hard plastic) to paper?

kat I would say glue dots or even diamond glaze (if you can get on with wet glue) anything else I think wouldnt last long.

polly - copyright ????? I want to make one of those cards..........how did you do the flap ?

:rotfl: :rotfl: i was joking mary i thought up the idea so ive put my own copyright on the handbag lol for the flap i just got some black card and cut it to the shape i wanted then stuck down with double sided tape normal glue wouldnt hold down but i think that was because it was very thick card.

Did you do it so it gave the appearance of being a handbag ? I was thinking of doing one where the flap of the bag is part of the card...........then I don't think it would stand up would it...............put brain back together and think again..............your ideas better.............lol
