Thanks kisto - love the guitar image............my son plays the guitar and it would be ideal for him. Last 'musical' type I did was using some old sheet music printed in Mums Yours magazine. I dipped it in some coffee, tore round the edges and stuck it a bit 'randomly' on a brown paper covered card. Might do similar sort of thing to yours...........looks much better than the one I did.

I'm a great hoarder of envelopes and normally re-use them by sticking a label on my address thats on them. Saves buying new ones and anything to save a few pennies..............lol
So, looks like envelopes will be a nice little project for me. Most of the ones I keep are brown ones or just plain white so just a little bit of something on the inside of the top flap would do.

    Brilliant ideas kisto and thanks.:T

ok here are my two cards with different edges: I don't know if you can see it that well, but I have cut the front of the card diagonally and embossed the white background with love hearts, I glued confetti hearts along the edge, overlapping the edge. In the second one I cut a strip off the edge and I used 3 brads and some ribbon along the edge.

One card is for my friends wedding anniversary and the other for my collegues who took me out for a lovely meal tonight as I am leaving my job this week.

I'm impressed, Cant wait to see a picci. I did a practice one but have got the 'real thing' card now so waiting to get started. Ordered my photos online on Monday evening so hopefully they should be delivered Thursday or Friday!! Was your card coloured on both sides, I got some glitter card for the outside so is white on one side, wondered if it would look ok to just decorate or line the white side??

I wonder if anyone can give me some ideas for a 50th birthday card. It is for a lady I work with. I have got some of the A5 three fold cards which I was wondering about using but really not very sure at all.
    Look forward to all suggestions.......

Polly did a nice 40th one, post 299 on this thread, maybe you can print out a big "50" of the computer and cut it out of nice card, stick it on with foam pads and then decorate it with embelishments
