I use sequins or fine glitter under clear plastic (taken from packaging etc). So it moves when card moved.
I've also used flat Christmas tree decorations (snowflakes) and for snow effect sprinkled with that cat litter thants clear opaque little balls. It looks amazing!
I also use gems from broken costume jewellery. Ribbons from any where, and bubble wrap sprayed silver or white for effects.0 -
Oh and in winter I use real leaves in golden and red hues. Also, berries and dried leaves sprayed.0

Here is my card for the thinking of you challenge, I used a technique called "Spirelli".
Oh, very nice - do you cut your own shapes for Spirelli, and have you ever tried it with more than one colour thread on a shape, does that look any good?In a better financial position than ever before (thank you MSE!). Moved back to Scotland and now trying to keep debt-free!0 -

No I don't cut my own, I had a packet of shapes given to me years ago and just rediscovered it. I also have a punch. I am sure you could use it with more than one colour thread, you would have to experiment.0 -
