Ideas for card craft beginner

Hi maggie and a very warm welcome to the thread your card is lovely well done :j I love working flowers into my cardmaking. I set a challenge every week on a monday and it runs untill sunday thanks for joining in :T

Polly, good to see you about.............any ideas on next weeks challenge ? I know I'm a bit early asking but having babygrandson for his birthday on Thursday and will be a bit busy and want to get it off early if poss.

I've been making some cards and wondering if I've anything I can use.......let me see...................how about a colour theme......so the card is either all one colour with embelishments or in various shades of a specific colour.
We could do a colour of our individual choice or someone pick a colour and we do that one

Great card Maggie Bob, and WELCOME. I know when I first found this thread I was thrilled! I tried looking at your other cards but photobucket wouldn't let me!
Mumoftwo - absolutely gorgeous card, I have never tried spirelli, but it looks very striking, I might have a go! Love the winnie the pooh card too, very pretty colours - especially the spotty backing paper.
I've just boght a scorer board from ebay, can't wait to get it. I always make my own card blanks, but sometimes it goes a bit wonky, so I thought I would invest in one. Its meant to be one that you can use to score boxes too, I have tried making boxes before but often the lids don't fit, so I might try to make some decorated gift boxes!
I have been very naughty this week, I found loads of stuff on ebay that I want, I don't think that I am strong enough to resist buying everything!

Doh! Didn't realise the album was set to private. I've opened it now, so you should be able to get in.

I've been experimenting my making my own toppers tonight, and I've made 9 identical heart toppers, which I will upload at some point in the future to show off. I also made a music themed birthday card using my first ever aperture card - hurrah!:T
