Well done, beautiful card! Hope you've got someone lined up to give it to, They'll love it!!! Did it take you long to do the iris folding?
    thanks
my niece, :D hopefully she likes it, the iris folding was ok actual folding didnt take too long, didn't realise i'd need SO much tape and it would be so bulky at the back (its fairly heavy) and that i'd need so much room around the design why i had to cover it in the paper

    BARGAIN ALERT!!!!!
I got an offer in the post today from Papercraft Inspirations magazine, (no idea how they got my details!). Anyway subscribe today for three issues of their magazine for £1 and choose a free gift.
The options for the free gift are (I'll have to descibe them from the letter as I subscribed on the website and they didn't show me pictures), accessory tote bag - looks very big, lots of pockets on the outside and is pink and purple. A heat embossing set, you get a heat gun and three embossing powders in raspberry, lilac and moss green colours. For those that don't know you use this when stamping.
The last option, and the one I have chosen is a mystery craft kit. You get one of three possible kits, a K&Co. "neopolitan" set which includes "over 380 stickers & chipboard shapes", this comes in a pink case and looks really pretty. The second item is K&Co "dollhouse pack", which includes "over 250 papers, card blanks and rub-ons". The last one is Paper cellar's "all occasion card kit". Looks like you get card blanks, envelopes and stickers with this one.
You can carry the subscription on after this offer, I think it was £8.30 every 3 months or choose to cancel within 60 days and cancel your direct debit. I will cancel - you still get to keep the 3 magazines and the free gift and it costs just £1. It says the free gift is worth up to £23!
You can ring up to order on 08448482852 and quote code D008, or do it online at www.myfavouritemagazines.co.uk/pci/D008. I hope this helps someone.

rheesetin - beautiful card.......very clever to be able to do that sortof folding.

polly - thanks for reminding me its tissue paper this week................lol
I'll post mine to you tomorrow........bit pathetic I think and was going to have another go then had upsetting phone call -ex foster girls house caught fire last night............upstairs stuff all ruined, bedding, clothes and stuff so got to sort out what I might have for her. Still, thankfully she and her hubby are ok and thats the main thing.

melissa - sounds like a good offer............not sure I'd know what to do with half that stuff though ..................lol

I'm a member of freecycle and get e mailed with whatever they've got but there's nothing at the minute. Tried another one, don'tdumpthat.........nothing there either.
I've got some bedding she can have and towels..............clothes wouldnt fit so thats no good for her.
I think she's going to work out some way of sleeping downstairs at the house in a sleeping bag so she said lunchtime.
I've told her that anything she needs if we've got it she can have it and I've got a friend who could help out as well so she'll be ok............I think
    Thanks for the thought shaz
