Lovely card Shaz. You are keen with the tissue paper challenge, I'm still thinking about it! Well done. See, you could have invented Iris folding. :D

Shaz, I just googled Blue Sky on Google Images and picked one that I liked. I did have to amend the colour in Picture Manager by brightening the blue, as it looked OK on screen but was a bit grey when I printed it off.
I think I ended up with an image from a tourism website, but I can't remember exactly.

    Hope this helps,

shaz - brilliant card !! How did you do it ??
Looked in woolworths today to see if they had any patterned tissue............well, not in our little branch. Would it count it I peeled a serviette in half ? Does that come under 'tissue paper' ? I'm really at a loss:confused:

Mary my tissue was from a load i had left from a scrapbooking kit been looking for a way to use it

When i was thinking about this challenge all i could think about was either aperture or collage

I am sure napkin classes as tissue as does boxed stuff for blowing your nose and some of them have pictures on!!!

    Good luck

Hiya, Sorry I haven't been on recently, I'm having computer problems too! My laptop has refused to let me post on MSE for a couple of days!:huh::sad: - I'm just back to using our main computer that has firefox - hope its not a widespread mse problem!

We haven't got our 'official' challenge post this week yet have we? I hope Polly hasn't got computer problems too!

Don't give up on the tissue paper idea everyone, take a look at the first few pages of this thread for ideas - I've even sourced some more techniques using google - they are on my laptop so sorry, can't share them with you right now. My card from page 1 of this thread suggested using tissue paper and pva glue on silver foil for a lovely blended abstract effect. I have since found out that unless you use the 'right type' of tissue paper it won't work. Maybe that is why Polly had a problem when she tried it? There are other ways suggested early on in the thread - mumoftwo gave us a nice example, and there are others too. Give it a go! :D
