How fantastic quicksave - I love it!!! Right I'm off to rip some pockets off some old jeans now!!!
  • Polly ~ thanks

Regarding giving cards... when I do commisions I hate giving the card to the person who is paying. I dont mind it when its a gift as its what I have made for them, they may not like it but I do :p I think taking money for your work is the hardest thing in the world.

quick save ~ OMG, that is so cool, thats actually amazing. Love it, love it, love it! On the same type of idea I found this blog hopping, a wallet card (scroll down a bit) :D

Thanks for the compliments everyone, may I point out before you get your scissors to a pair of old faves, that the pocket I cut out was from a pair of jeans for a 2-3 year old girl - the card size is 5"x7" - so make sure the pocket will fit on your card before you snip! :D

(I got some of those hippy badges too Mary, but was too embarassed to put them on!:rotfl: )

Idea "Bing" - why not put that wallet inside the pocket of the jeans! Two ingenious ideas in one! :D

Fantastic card qwiksave, super idea and so adaptable for everyone, you can make a girl version as well, with flowery embelishments.

I made this card for my friends husband who is very much into poker. Found the 4 aces on google images and had bought the background paper with cards on because poker is so popular at the moment. Cut a strip off the front of the card. Finished off with some eyelets. Mounted everything on foam pads to give it all a 3D effect. the greeting is on the inside of the card.

Chickadee, your scooter card is wonderful, I love the colour and the black makes the colour even brighter, really good. Birdie, your crab is super, love the waves. I have Fimo somewhere, thanks for reminding me, I have to have a play with that.

Polly your card is magic. The holographic paper makes it vibrant and I love the speech bubble, really personal card..

Great card mum-of-two. Love the eyelets (I have never used them), and I love the "have an ace birthday" greeting. I am amazed at the quality images that can be downloaded for free from the internet, I have definately been missing out not having a computer.
