I am very annoyed - I just posted a long reply, the computer went nutty and it disappeared, now I have to start again - aaahhh.
Anyway, great cards everyone, I haven't started mine yet, I spent yesterday listing things on ebay. I'm hoping to make a start today.
Polly, love the Yoda cards, my sons would be thrilled if they received it!
Birdie, very professional looking crab, I used fimo once and it went horribly wrong!
Shaz, very cool card, I think its great how you have put the letters on the balls, very clever!!
Crannog, great dinosaur, how on earth did you make it? I love the colours.
Pap, I think your card is just perfect, I love the co-ordinating colours.
    Ilc, crazy woman!!!!!

I can't remember who was asking for tips on decoupage but here are mine. It is much easier to use curved scissors rather than the normal straight ones. You can buy these special decoupage scissors, but they cost quite a bit, I just use curved nail scissors as they work just as well. When you are cutting try and keep the scissors still and move the paper as you cut, (I hope this makes sense!). Lastly there are two types of adhesives to use when building up your layers, sillicone glue and foam pads or tape. The foam pads/tape are much easier to use, the sillicone is a bit fiddly and you have to leave it to dry between layers. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the info on decoupage Melissa, we'll be needing that info for our challenge very soon! :D I never knew that you could do the image getting smaller and smaller either - I thought you only put the same size image on top of each other - its lucky we've got this thread isn't it?! :D Another decoupage question, don't know if you know or anyone else here, what is the decoupage varnish stuff for? I've seen it in shops, is it necessary?

Speaking of threads, I've just found another useful resource for us, a brand new UK site that started May 1st, called trimcraft (www.trimcraft.co.uk) that you can learn lots of craft techniques from, post your cards on, chat on a forum, but very mse, no shopping (as yet!) Worth a look...

I've done my card and am extremely pleased with the result (If I do say so myself! :D ) - will post it later.

(Little tip Melissa, always edit then copy your text if you are posting a long reply then at least you can get it back if it goes awol! ;) )
