Actually I am here to find bargains, I just think that signing up to a catalogue company to get a £2 bit of tatty jewellery that probably costs about 75p to make in some third world sweatshop wasn't a great deal. But then I didn't realise that Mikey was a brand name that people would rave about, so what do I know. It looked just like the kind of cheap stuff my daughter picks up in Claire's Accessories for a few quid.
I do pity anyone who was foolish enough to pay a catalogue company £30 for that though - very Gerald Ratner.

Ohhh, the irony has overwhelmed me. Perhaps she'd be better reading the Grabbit Board?

However, I am not holding m breath for them to be delivered though if everyone has ordered a couple each, can someone post when you have dispatch confirmations or the like. Thanks.

OP, please don't take any of this to heart. I get fed up of seeing the Sat Nav things posted in grabbit as it is of no interest to me. I don't go saying that in the thread though, I just ignore it an move on. Life is way to short to get het up over a necklace.

I ordered 2 of these and I have received an email stating that my order has been processed and my items will be despatched shortly. However, I do have a freemans catalogue so don't know if that has made a difference to processing order time.

Well spotted OP, my daughter and niece will love these ;)

read it, decide to not buy it, then bog off to the next thread till you find something that suits you... or like it, buy it and nicely thank the op for sharing.
But if no one was allowed to comment then what is the point on having a chat forum??? Why not just have people posting offers, and then not allowing anyone to say whether they think it's good or not??
My point was that to get a bit of tatty jewellery for £2 you have to sell your soul to the catalogue companies, when you could pick it up just as easily in Claire's. Once you take them up on this offer you will not only have a credit check against your name, plus another bit of credit which will not massively help your credit rating, but you will also get sent a stream of environmentally unfriendly catalogues three times a year.
As for offers that I've posted maybe you should look in my history. I don't recall anyone complaining when I was telling people about where to find PS2s, or when I pass on Argos reservation numbers for people who want must have items that I reserve for MSErs.

i was under the impression that you could pay by credit/debit card and not open an account with them?I didn't go for it myself but was a good find!

The point is you are being deliberately offensive to someone who is trying to do you a favour. To order this item did not require a credit check, it could be paid for immediately. In any case, should an individual decide they wish to apply for an account, then it is up to them to decide, not you.
Advice about credit scoring, scamming, potential fraudsters would always be welcome I am sure, particularly if you have knowledge that you could pass on.
Offensive, catty, small minded, deliberately mean remarks just make you sound nasty, and I'm sure that deep deep deep down you aren't really.
As far as Claires Accessories goes, for 2 quid you can't get much in my experience, so just let forum members enjoy having a bargain for once.
