Happychappy, its actually "You're only allowed to say nice things police round"

This is the correct usage of English in this context.:rotfl:

Oh NO !! not only the "You :D must obey police" but now the Staffy has the grammatically correct brigade calling, all this for not liking garish, ostentious baubles  Sorry staffy, back to school for you in the morning :T must be some infants to bully.

well it's a good find but erm...not to my taste.
Wins since June: iPod shuffle 1gb, Samsung g800, cinema ticket, lush retro giftbox, 2x mp3 downloads, a big box of food (???)

It seems such a shame when someone has found an item at a good price, suitable for some but not to everyones taste, that there's bad comments about the item(s).
Why? Surely if it's not to someone's liking they'd just give it a miss with no comment. The OP's must be disappointed by some of the responses they get perhaps put off from posting any more.
Of course people are entitled to express their opinions but I don't understand the point of knocking an OP for a perfectly good find.
This is my opinion as a fairly new member to the site.

And mine Sadie. As a relative newbie myself, I think it's appalling that the OP has been treated as they have. I'd be very reluctant to post a bargain if some of these responses are typical.

Thanks OP. I wonder how many of the negative posters are here to find a grabbit bargain, they sure as hell dont give that impression.
Actually I am here to find bargains, I just think that signing up to a catalogue company to get a £2 bit of tatty jewellery that probably costs about 75p to make in some third world sweatshop wasn't a great deal. But then I didn't realise that Mikey was a brand name that people would rave about, so what do I know. It looked just like the kind of cheap stuff my daughter picks up in Claire's Accessories for a few quid.
I do pity anyone who was foolish enough to pay a catalogue company £30 for that though - very Gerald Ratner.

You know what, if you can't say something nice - why say anything at all? I have been a member of this site only a few days and have been astonished to see how many mean minded, downright nasty individuals there are, just picking at people for no reason. If you don't like the necklace - fine - don't buy it, but don't berate anyone else who would like to purchase it. If there were less mean spirited people in the world we would all be a lot better off - and don't go all sanctimonious on me about products made in the 'third world' - first of all get educated and look at the language you are using (very outdated) and then take a look around your home, in your fridge, wardrobe, etc etc and examine your own conscience before you hassle anyone else.

Firstly thanks to the OP - great find! Just ordered a couple for my daughters.
Secondly - I did not have to sign up to this company. Just purchased the items in the normal way - free delivery too!
Thirdly - I'm sure we'd all like to know which 'bargains' you find of interest on this website. Please do let us know.

Thanks OP, just ordered 3 for pressies! Great find!
  • I'm absolutely amazed at some of the mean and nasty comments on this thread - what on earth has gotten into some of you???

Thanks OP for sharing your find, I've ordered one for a friend of mine who loves a big bit of bling, she'll be chuffed with it.

Please ignore the meanspirited people on here and don't let them put you off posting more in the future.
