I got a letter saying 'thanks for the order blah blah' and that they were now £1.60. No mention of a delay.

That's what I got on Friday (I think), but then yesterday I had an email (might be because I had emailed them asking why order wasn't showing online) saying very sorry but.....
Oh well, I look upon it as being £4 better off (I'd ordered two), as it was totally on impulse anyway, and it's not something I actually "need".
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

I sent an email to freemans about my letter of 14 days and they replied back that they now not requesting any more stock from the supplier. So no neckaces now. Bet they are still advertising it.Mortgage Free 2016Work Part Time:DHouse Hunting In France 20230

Big lugs, everyone had a go at you because you were being catty to people who might want the necklace - 'cheap', 'tatty' etc etc. It would have been nice for you to highlight your concerns to anyone (i.e. be careful signing up to the catalogue etc). But you were enjoying being nasty as well.0

I was never "nasty" to anyone. My first post asked whether the original post was spam, because at that point the poster had posted only 4 (FOUR) messages on this forum in total. The thread was for an item which looked - to me - like a cheap piece of jewellery which had been originally marketed at a ridiculously high price, then massively reduced to sucker in new customers to a catalogue company. It had all the hallmarks of a piece of viral marketing, and I raised my concerns.Big lugs, everyone had a go at you because you were being catty to people who might want the necklace - 'cheap', 'tatty' etc etc. It would have been nice for you to highlight your concerns to anyone (i.e. be careful signing up to the catalogue etc). It was others who implied I was being personally nasty about others.
Presumably in future anyone who accuses a poster of putting up spam will likewise be flamed, and have their messages deleted by the moderators without any notice or warning? You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -
Just got a letter morning saying that they are out of stock now and my money is being refunded
.
I only ordered one for myself not 20. I'd be interested to know if anyone receives one. Im betting the Mr Greedy's who ordered 50 for Ebay will somehow have managed to get them
Oh well worth a try, thanks OP :T0 -
I got the same letter too. Such a shame as it was a pretty necklace.
Here's to another day and another bargain. :beer:0 -
