Thats what I thought gem, the accountancy cert is £2000. I dont mind paying that but it just means I have a year to save for it rather than having to pay it now. Also I have never done a long distance course before so doing a generally 'easy' one will help. Anyways I am now registered  they are sending out the forms for finacial help and once those are sent back I can start in November :j0 -

Fleas prefer sweet blood, does your mum & bro eat the same amount of sugar as you?
When we had cats my brother & step-dad were always bitten, they both used to have tea with 2-3 sugars. I didn't eat many sweet things and was rarely bitten.
Thanks so much for this raph. After phoning the vet and checking they said it would be fine to buy online as he hasnt reacted to this first course. So I managed to get a 6 month set for only £16.80 with postage from petmeds. I also got 5% through quidco :j That leaves me £53.40 spare from what I put away for the meds :T
Sorry me again, cant sleep as I am figuring out my major plan
I have also been playing with savings accounts and decided that my isa will be used for my savings for the course in september. My yearly savings will be placed in my locked saver. This means I have less for my yearly savings but already have some put away for september 09 :j The reason I have done this is the locked savings have an higher interest rate and I so far I havent drawn on it so this option is working for meSo now I am planning to save at least £100 per month for 13 months (till next July) so that will give me £1300 for my course then I only need to find another £1000. In that case it will be a bit of squirrling away and being a bit tight with finaces. However working with my income I can afford to save at least £300, leaving me with £100 a month to live on.
Obviously I can have months 'off' but I know I can save this amount even if I have to give up saving on my yearly savingsSaving for this course will effectively change my life so I have to save this cash. Then I think I will be back on track to save and get a work placement like I mentioned in my old diary. Then fingers crossed I will get a great job and will enjoy my work. It will be hard work but as everyone has said I think it will be easier to work where I am now if I know there is a 'way out'.
I will do this! :j0 -
