My ideal weight (acording to me ~ acording to my docs its 9st, yeah right!) would be 12st or a size 16 whichever comes first. However I have never ever ever been that small so dont know how I will feel when I get there.

That's the way to do it Pap, baby steps. Setting yourself smaller achievable goals is better than one huge impossible goal.

I'm aiming to get down to 14 stone, then going to go for 12 stone. At the moment I'm just focused on the 14 stone goal (just 1 stone 1 lb to go!) then I will look towards the next one.
My ideal weight according to BMI index is 10 stone, but if I get down to 12 and am happy with that I will stay there (thats the plan anyway :D)
I'm feeling alot happier with my body already having lost just 2 stone!

BMI is an odd one, the doctors reckon my mum should be between 6st 3lbs and 8st 3lbs I think (she's very short!). Well at 8st 3lbs, she looked too thin and sickly with it, didn't suit her at all, at 8st 5lbs she looked good. It's amazing the difference a couple of pounds make when you're near your target.

  • Thanks raph :A I think the bmi is pants too. As long as you are happy with your size thats all that counts imo.

Gem, too true its those extra lbs that make stones.

Nothing going on here lately. Working and sleeping again and spending money inbetween, seems like thats my life at present (again). Nevermind eh. One week, one day to pay day :D

Morning pap! Have you looked at tesco diets (got mine with my vouchers) ...the GI one is meant to help with PCOS so may be worth a look at? I could see if I could copy & paste an example if that would help - mind you theyve got me on 1200 a day!! Started "proper" today! My hips been killing me so time to kick the butt off my butt!! Are you managing to do any excercise? It may help with feeling low etc...its so hard getting motivated though isnt it...!

  • Morning isom. At the moment I am on a calorie controled diet for £10 a month. I have tryed a gi diet solely on my own but it didnt work. I have a pcos diet book and yes the gi diet is supposed to be the best one avalible only I couldnt make it work for me  Well i do do some excercise but not enough. I used to be an avid swimmer but since one of my symtoms has flared up I find it extremely hard to go. Have thought about walking to work (3 1/2 miles) but I need to be in the mood for that :rotfl: give me wii tennis anyday :rotfl:
