Are the Sanctuary suede bags scanning at £10 or is it only reduced in some stores. I found a couple at my local but they wouldn't scan one, she said she had scanned them this morning and they were £20.0

It's been reduced for quite a while now, SEL says £5.99 though it goes through the tills at £3.99, no mention of any special offer on the shelf. The ACM was giving out 100 points vouchers for the serum last month, no problem using them against the reduced price.0 -

This is what i said to her but she wouldn't have any of it. It's just that store they don't try and put vouchers through even if you ask them to and even though the till will accept it.:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boysWant to be fit for 30 not fat at 30but i want never gets!!!0 -

Mine had Clearance stickers for £10 on them. I forget whether they scanned at full price and had to be over-ridden though. Also, there were about a dozen there and it was a very small branch so perhaps the manager just wanted them out the shop asap. Bigger stores might not be in so much of a hurry.Val.0 -
Someone (I can't remember who, sorry) mentioned a few days ago that they have a little speech that they use when SA's refuse to try vouchers. Say that you have contacted customer services as you have been refused the use of points vouchers on other ocassions, and that they have told you to ask the SA to try them and see what the till says. I'm keeping that in mind in case I need to use it one day.
If they still refuse and you are feeling brave enough then make a point of asking for their name so that you "can speak to customer services again about it". That will probably do the trick
It's so frustrating when you know you are in the right, isn't it? Aaargh...:mad:0 -

That was me;) If they still argue, my DH then asks for the manager. Works every time. We accept it if the tills bleeps and says NO....but not when staff say NO0 -
Congratulations CPG - a thoroughly well deserved post of the month winner:beer:
I remember scrolling through the other nominations and thinking the Afrika Afrika thread was going to walk away with it. However, the power of Boots Boosters united and I am so pleased you got it. A small reward for the continued work you put it on our behalf (and anyone else who wants to drop into these threads).
The other Boots Booster who I would also like to thank hugely (did vote for her for post of the month at the end of Jan) was Sally06 for the High Lights glitch. Amazing find that saved me loads of dosh (especially when nabbing GWPs)
Thank you both so much:T0 -
Congratulations from me too  ! Am completely new to Bootsing and loving every minute - couldn't have done it without your hard work and all the other lovely peeps on this thread that have given advice. Thanks to everyone :T xx
