I tried to buy the expert shampoo and use the voucher but it beeped. so I said I would leave it cos only bought it to use the voucher which they were ok about. But SA had to call someone over to void it then another SA said I can put it through for you if you still want it but by then I'd decided to leave it.
I asked about the extra points cos there was no publicity in the store and the SA went to ask for me. Another SA said yes it is it's just gone through on my till. so I spent £20 and only got the extra points for the vouchers I handed in. when I queried it the SA said I don't know what you have to spend £20 on and I just know the lady before got a lot of points. so although I am happy with the points I got I might have done it on a different day:D

So no 500 points with £20 spend then?
The 100 points last night were added by a girl on a diff till and what they did was put my card in the reader on the other till and the sa said 100 points. I didnt get a receipt fot it though. Will need to check ACM to see if it went through ok.

Money is only of any use if you can spend it!

If I have a combination of vouchers which I think may cause a problem I generally give the points one first then wait for the SA to ask for payment before remembering my pink money off voucher;) . Generally this then goes through without problem. If you ask them up front about using both together then some SAs can (as you have found out) get a bit snooty.
    Thanks will try that!

Oxford Cornmarket Boots have finally reduced their Valentines Day Chocs!
They have the big red box of Throntons Premium Collection (with fancy bow) 500g from £14.99 down to £2.50 :D:D Perfect for Mother's Day!
Also paid 63p for the I love you cups and £1.25 for the 200g chocolate heart chocs.
Really chuffed :j so worth checking in case this is Nationwide.

Re the 100 points for the expert range from the mag. It would not go through the till with the expert disposable razors and they had to be added manually.
    k.
It wouldn't go through with the Boots Expert Sensitive Gentle Cleansing Bar either. Had to be added manually (by lovely SA :A ).
