Uuuuuuuuuuugh. how will I cope. So I'll still be looking at all of the bargains you've bagged - just not joining in. See you all in April:D
It can be done! I got just 2 illuminating powders for my daughters, and decided that my ridiculous compulsion to collect points which I do anything to avoid spending had to be addressed. So I've stopped popping in to Boots, or looking online. I am astonished and horrified by how much longer cash stays in my purse.0 -

I know.....I think that's what I was trying to say. It's so easy to get carried away and lured in by Boots. As I said in my post, we think we are playing the system with Boots (and often we are), but they know what they are doing.
Yup...it's better to keep that £1 in your pocket rather than get 100 points, assuming you don't need or want the item of course. Sometimes of course the thought occurs that it's worth having this item to have "treat" points for yourself, but then why not stick the £1 in a treats piggy bank instead?
Anyway, to report back From Fort Kinnaird Edinburgh. No 500 points for a £20 spend, alas. Just the usual stuff. The pink hatboxes were nearly sold out. There's no P&P gift sets there. There's no Clearance section to be seen. (There very seldom is in FK.) They have the £19.99 mirrors. There are still plenty of Sanctuary GWPs, and they have restocked their very limited range of blue S&G, none of which I fancy anyway.
They do however have several of the S&G folding shopping bag, marked on the SEL as £2.50 but goes through the till at £0.00. I "bought" one to make sure. However it's not very interesting, frankly...it's not big enough for groceries and not even that attractive. I took my shopping back to the car than asked myself if I wanted to go back in and get another one, then decided it wasn't worth the effort of walking 200 yards in the rain for. Yup, it's that interesting. You might as well pick one up though if you see it.
There's also some of the Expert range on at 25% off. I noticed the hair removal items were reduced anyway. Worth combining with the magazine voucher if you need some things.
Didn't go to the Musselburgh branch as couldn't get parked thanks to a daft biddy that thought it was worth trying to scrape her car and mine trying to barge into the last parking space. I backed off, more because I'd just paid a horrific garage bill and was in OH's car. If it had been my ancient and well scratched banger I'd have given her a run for her money though. Oh well, you win some, you lose some! :rotfl:Val.0 -
So is the bag free for anyone in the health/baby clubs?0

I'm in the health club, yet when I bought the vitamins recently on 3 for 2, I didn't get the additional discount someone mentioned. Is there something I additional I need to do to activate being in the health club other than selecting it in my boots account online?
Also, can I use the double points coupon from a new AC with a different AC?0
