I've just got back from Oldham Elk Mill store and used the last of my No7 vouchers on some NO7 mens shampoo/body wash for £6.00. Used voucher out of ACM for 100 pts so got it for free. Also used the two separate S&G vouchers (magazine and ACM) and got the Heel/foot cream which I really like. Got 400 pts for that so effectively only paid £1.00 for it. Also got the S&G bag. The SA was amazed it went through free.
Just wanted to say the SA's at this store are lovely. She tried all my variou
s vouchers and is always so friendly (probably cause I go in most days!!!!)
I love Bootsing!!!!!0 -
Re the 100 points for the expert range from the mag. It would not go through the till with the expert disposable razors and they had to be added manually.

Someone mentioned the other day about getting to know the No7 SA's ... wish I could find the post but cannot. So I did as that poster recommended this morning ....
The SA was lovely ... I told her I had all these pink £5 voucher's and also the 250point ones and could they be used together?; she said yes and put through all my stuff as seperate transactions. Totally made up cos I have some extra goodies and got 1000 exra points which I would otherwise not have used.
So many thanks to the poster that left that message .... :T
Thank You girls
This was Cribbs, Bristol. Also should mention that the Arden counter had their bronzing range (think it was last summers range) all reduced ... got a nice lip balm for £2.25.
Lots of the pink boxes still left ..... and plenty of magazines too at the tills
I did look for the 3-4-2 on the minis

... noticed an offer on the Boots site yesterday and it comes with a free Sancturay gift bag. None is store and this store new nothing about it. Does anyone know if that is just an online offer?
Have a good weekend .... :beer:0 -

k.
I tried to buy the expert shampoo and use the voucher but it beeped. so I said I would leave it cos only bought it to use the voucher which they were ok about. But SA had to call someone over to void it then another SA said I can put it through for you if you still want it but by then I'd decided to leave it.
I asked about the extra points cos there was no publicity in the store and the SA went to ask for me. Another SA said yes it is it's just gone through on my till. so I spent £20 and only got the extra points for the vouchers I handed in. when I queried it the SA said I don't know what you have to spend £20 on and I just know the lady before got a lot of points. so although I am happy with the points I got I might have done it on a different day:Dsaving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

Ok, Boots related first...... then I need a rant off topic but you'll understand why when I start.
I can confirm that the Frizz-ease 5ml original serum £1.99 DOES go thru' free with the £2 hair voucher or you can get the 25ml bottle for just £1.95.
Was able to print off 4 S&G vouchers (1 yesterday, 3 today) and combined each one with vouchers from mag to get 400 pts for each £5 S&G Spa item I bought.
If you are getting the 17 lip glaze, 342 offer and want to get the new foundation they are doing the ACM has a 50pts voucher for this which says it can be combined with current 342 offer, so don't take any nonsense from SA's
Now my rant - (not Boots related) I have 7 year old twins, one of whom is disabled. On Monday he is due an operation in London, it's a big op, he may even be able to walk (he never has) after this and lots of physio. I've made arrangements for his twin sister to stay with family for the week that we will be in London, she is so excited about this, and my son although disabled is fully aware of the fact he is having an op, is excited about going on the train to the hospital and although he doesn't understand everything he does know that this may help him walk in the future and he so wants to walk but......
they've just cancelled it    and can't say when it will now happen (staff shortages). I've got to go and tell him now, when I get him from school, he's going to be so disappointed, so is my daughter and as for me:eek: my emotions can't cope!!!!0 -

 Right, maybe i've got the wrong end of the stick here. Someone on freecycle kindly gave me 3 No7 pink vouchers. Went to Boots today & picked up 3 packs of No7 wipes and had 3 x No7 GWP 250 points on skincare voucher. Went to till and asked for 3 separate transactions and SA said that won't work as it is combining offers which isn't allowed. I gritted my teeth smiled politely and said please could you try. She scanned and the till DIDN'T beep. She then pressed something which then made the till beep, showed me ACM with points on and said "told you it wouldn't work". So i asked for my vouchers back and scuttled away fuming.
Should this have worked and did she deliberately make the till beep as i'm sure it went thro ok and she stopped it?
I need to try again as really want the points but don't think i can handle the humiliation. Would the ACM till machine have shown the points or have i been conned? HELP
If I have a combination of vouchers which I think may cause a problem I generally give the points one first then wait for the SA to ask for payment before remembering my pink money off voucher;) . Generally this then goes through without problem. If you ask them up front about using both together then some SAs can (as you have found out) get a bit snooty.0
