  • they've just cancelled it    and can't say when it will now happen (staff shortages). I've got to go and tell him now, when I get him from school, he's going to be so disappointed, so is my daughter and as for me:eek: my emotions can't cope!!!!

So sorry this happened, that's terrible. Fingers crossed you get a phone call soon...

Bootsing reminds me of my mum who used to go hunting for bargains (one particular shop used to have red lights flashing when there was a flash sale), with 7 kids to raise, in hindsight I think it was her form of stress relief.

All the best to you and yours.

Me too has anyone contacted them about it I was thinking about giving them a ring but wondered if anyone had contacted them already. I really want to add some Lancome and I can't
I haven't contacted them, if you give them a ring let us know the outcome

  • hi fellow bootsers

i went to east kilbride today and got the 3 for 2 ( or really 3 for 1 :rotfl: ) 17 products, I got the lipglaze, I picked up the clear one, its really nice, and I got a pencil sharpener and a chunky gold eyeliner, so only paid £2.79 for all three products :T I got the soap and glory foot cream too, and I got toni and guy heat protector spray for 2.99 instead of 4.99 with the haircare voucher :D

I got another haircare voucher :D so I will need to go back and get something else now  :rotfl: but there were no more mags :o

Just back from a Boots shop. Put through several transactions and put through a magazine with each of them. The SA said 'sorry..one magazine per customer'

That's fine....said I;) - put them through anyway and I am happy to pay for them (knowing they would go through for £0.00). She did, and she wasn't happy when each transaction for No 7 for Men Shower and Hair Wash and magazine totalled £1.00:rotfl:

So, we get to the final transaction - No 7 stay perfect foundation £13.25 and No 7 Perfect Light Portable Loose Powder £11.00, and of course, GWP. Total was £24.25 - handed over pink voucher and PC voucher....total to pay £14.25. SA says you can't have the GWP now madam:mad: She'd already put it through the till and scanned the vouchers and till said YES:mad: - she said NO:mad:

So...I asked (well DH did) to speak to the manager and said we had been advised by customer services that SAs should try all vouchers if requested by the customer and if the till does not reject a voucher or part of the combined transaction then it is fine. The manager wasn't happy but said on this occasion I could have the GWP, buts he wouldn't do it again. Glad it wasn't my local Boots:T
  • Just seen this one of the 2 LAncome GWP in person,

    http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?productid=1093920

The bag is a browny colour and is much bigger than i expected! Proper handbag size if you will! I thought it would be more like a cosmetic bag size  But hey, its all good :T Can't wait to receive them :D:D

    Well ,I was a good girl:A

I looked at the Lancome gift in store and decided I didn't need it:eek:

But if I get 2 gifts on .com I might be tempted:rotfl:

Used up my last 5 No7 pink vouchers,

Got 3 No7 Tinted moisturisers (Extra points voucher doesn't work although SA thought it would
Mens no7 face wash +250 extra pts from GWP
Mens no7 after shave balm +250 extra pts from GWP

Got the tinted moisturisers at the Gyle Edinburgh ,they were reduced on shelf,I picked up one of each and joined queue at tills.
    No7 SA said "I'll take you here!"

She was lovely and even tried the points voucher.

I toddled off to Fort Kinnaird but they didn't have it marked as reduced so I asked but SA said only the Fair one and they had none left! So back to the Gyle to use last voucher! Back to same SA who was lovely again!
At the Gyle I also got 2 Steamy showers sets @ £7.50 each with my points (I don't need haircare voucher so I can finally spend my points!)

The weather here is terrible the rain is going in all directions:eek:

    Bright idea

I am so sorry that the NHS have cancelled your sons operation.I don't think they realise how stressful it is for the patient and their family before an operation. Its even worse when its a child and arrangements have to be made.
    Good luck getting it rescheduled!
