Just back from a Boots shop. Put through several transactions and put through a magazine with each of them. The SA said 'sorry..one magazine per customer'

That's fine....said I;) - put them through anyway and I am happy to pay for them (knowing they would go through for £0.00). She did, and she wasn't happy when each transaction for No 7 for Men Shower and Hair Wash and magazine totalled £1.00:rotfl:

So, we get to the final transaction - No 7 stay perfect foundation £13.25 and No 7 Perfect Light Portable Loose Powder £11.00, and of course, GWP. Total was £24.25 - handed over pink voucher and PC voucher....total to pay £14.25. SA says you can't have the GWP now madam:mad: She'd already put it through the till and scanned the vouchers and till said YES:mad: - she said NO:mad:

So...I asked (well DH did) to speak to the manager and said we had been advised by customer services that SAs should try all vouchers if requested by the customer and if the till does not reject a voucher or part of the combined transaction then it is fine. The manager wasn't happy but said on this occasion I could have the GWP, buts he wouldn't do it again. Glad it wasn't my local Boots:T

on no what a nightmare chick, im glad you eventually got it to go through

why do SA act like this  if I worked in boots I would be happy for customers to get a little bit back.

    http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?productid=1093920

The bag is a browny colour and is much bigger than i expected! Proper handbag size if you will! I thought it would be more like a cosmetic bag size  But hey, its all good :T Can't wait to receive them :D:D

    Might have to get one:o

It did look nice so might try again on .com

  • Hi - so sorry but I haven't yet been able to read all the posts (still got some from the last thread to read as well!!)....

    could I ask:-

**are those s&g bags scanning for free? or for 50p??

**also regarding the half price no7 sheer + tinted moisturiser - is the 'fair' just for fair skin and the 'medium' for asian/dark skin?? or are both for any skin colour??

Would be grateful for a replyX

    THANKS!!XX

I think this was mentioned on the previous thread No7 soft & Sheer tinted moisturiser is half price £4.75:j not even advertised on the shelf as being half price.

If you use the £5 voucher you get it free.I'm off to get 4 more with my 4 remaining vouchers :D I love it i use it all year round.

Here it is on .com and at full price http://www.boots.com/brandtreatment/product_details_brand_treatment.jsp?productid=1057356&classificationid=1047053

I was wondering does anyone know if the till recognises these as £4.75 or £9.50 for part towards the £20 for GWP?
  • Just managed to get the no7 mens shave gel for £6.00 with the 250 points from the gwp and the £5 No7 voucher. Went through the till with no problems :j

I did this today with the No7 Mens Scrub tube as they had run out of the Post Shave stuff, used the 250pts from the GWP, PLUS the 100pts from the new mag, then handed over the pink £5 voucher and paid £1 :D . SA was impressed. Then in next transaction got the Fair Tinted Moisturizer for £4.75 with my last pink voucher, was marked as reduced on shelf.

Am uhming and ahring about the Mirror for £19.99. Don't really need it, but if I add something small I could get the GWP as well and pay with points. Decisions, decisions.... :rotfl:

    Poundsinbucks x ;)

I've just got back from Oldham Elk Mill store and used the last of my No7 vouchers on some NO7 mens shampoo/body wash for £6.00. Used voucher out of ACM for 100 pts so got it for free. Also used the two separate S&G vouchers (magazine and ACM) and got the Heel/foot cream which I really like. Got 400 pts for that so effectively only paid £1.00 for it. Also got the S&G bag. The SA was amazed it went through free.

Just wanted to say the SA's at this store are lovely. She tried all my variou
s vouchers and is always so friendly (probably cause I go in most days!!!!)

    I love Bootsing!!!!!

do you have to buy a s&g product to get the bag free?
