Glad it's not just me with the naff offers being a newbie ! You'd think they'd give us more to make us spend more:confused: (I know I would !)

Hopefully Big Boots Brother has been watching me well and will give me a nice lot of new ACM vouchers next month :j .

Have a bit of a dilemma here this afternoon ......... whether to nip to B&Q and get some bits that I need for decorating next week and pop into the big retail park Boots while i'm there ... or ... open a nice bottle of wine to have with the Sunday roast ........ decisions, decisions !

Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY hogshead ....... hope you're having a lovely day xx
LOL....I know what I would do.....and it wouldn't be to go to B&Q or Boots!!

Think you're right dollardog ... especially as the wine was a complete bargain (did a booze cruise just over a week ago:beer: ).

Unless, of course, someone tells me that there's a complete bargain to be had at Boots within the next 10 mins !

Deborah I suffer with bad migraines and have to see a consultant neurologist. Till this happened and I got my prescription meds I don't think there is much that works. I have 3 lots of med to take and this recent migrain has been the worse. Although have not had a full blown migraine since I have been taking these meds. See if your GP can refer with you due to your allergy.

There seem to be quite a few of us on here who suffer from migraine type headaches and I totally agree with Rubylou in that for ages I couldn't find anything from the pharmacy that even touched the pain.. Just to throw my two penn'orth in, in the hope that it might help someone, I finally got a prescription from the GP for sumatriptan and it works very well for me.You can buy them without prescription - these Imigran are just 50mg sumatriptan - if anyone wants to try them without a GP visit. I can second that, sumatriptan has been a life saver for me, i've been taking it for about 10 years now - before that i used to have migraines that lasted for 2-3 days.
Try to get them from the doc's though as the Imigran recovery in the shops only has 2 tablets in it - the prescription ones have 6 tablets per pack and a stronger strength is available too (i take 100mg).
It's not a traditional 'pain killer' if your thinking that pain killers just don't work on migraine, it works in a different way but can have some side affects and doesn't suit everyone so talk to your doc!

Was in clearance area at £2.12. Asked to pay with points and got 200 points as credit so total cost was 12p. Got 3 more and SA said I`d got a bargain but she would now report to her supervisor so don`t know whether offer is still valid. (This was Castlepoint Bournemouth)
Did you see whether Castlepoint had any of the S&G shower sets left? It's rather a long drive for me, but I'd go if they did :)

It's because the No7 free High Lights voucher hasn't worked so the SA put it through as a "Boots Coupon", which is completely different from normal coupons as it is selected from the payment screen, see how it appeared after the total? Mag coupons will usually appear before the total as they are money off, not payment. Hope I make sense lol :)

many thanks for explaining it I wondered why I managed to get a voucher for only 4.99 spend :)
  • many thanks to the OP for the lip pencils @ £1 each with lip glaze voucher -did it 3 times this morning so 9 items for £3 bargin :)
