I find Boots till receipts quite confusing especially if you're a bit flustered after the 3rd visit to the till so thanks for pointing this out I'm sure it will help us newbies immensly.

Its weird the way they list the points as well, I have to think which are kiosk vouchers and which are from mag

I prefer the old receipts, that showed how much you'd saved.

    eg: total to pay: 5.00

Today you have saved (or words to that effect) 25.00:D

I popped into Luton branch today. Clearance shelf was bare. I walked out in disgust:rotfl: I am so glad I work in London 3 days a week. I love hopping on and off the tube. Some times I visit 4 or 5 stores in one day (when the boss is away;) )

Hi Dollardog, thank you so much for offering to send me a S&G bag:A although I haven't managed to get one and I think they are now selling for 2.50:confused: I think crazyposhgal should get the one you are offering to me. Because (A) She posted a message on the thread a couple of days ago asking if anyone had any spare bags. (B) She puts in a lot of time and effort into keeping the first page up to date - she deserves it more than me:D

Thanks again Dollardog, I really appreciate your generosity:A

Sally that is such a generous thing to do but i have managed to get one now so its all yours. :D Thanks for the thought though. I love this thread, it is without doubt the friendliest thread on here. :T

There seem to be quite a few of us on here who suffer from migraine type headaches and I totally agree with Rubylou in that for ages I couldn't find anything from the pharmacy that even touched the pain.. Just to throw my two penn'orth in, in the hope that it might help someone, I finally got a prescription from the GP for sumatriptan and it works very well for me.You can buy them without prescription - these Imigran are just 50mg sumatriptan - if anyone wants to try them without a GP visit. I have used these for a number of years now and find them really good. They work by tightening up the blood vessels in your brain (or something). Made me feel really peculiar the first time i ever took them like i had an elephant on my chest but ok now. I get them on prescription now. My gp gives me 12 each time (even asked me if that was enough last time). So this is MUCH cheaper than buying over the counter (even better when you have an exemption like i do - maternity, till your baby is 1 year old). So am stocking up whilst i don't need to pay!!:T

loads of hat boxes at *that store* but Still £9 they said that they will not be reducing them but please can someone pm me if they see them there at £4.50 the only thing i got was a s&g mother pucker for £2 no gwp though.
I'm not going in there for a while now the staff annoy me. apart from my other problem i had there today dollardog one SA said to me out of the blue that she thinks it's awful how us customers stock up on reduced or clearance things especially the 75% sale and hang on to them and give them for next years christmas presents when it is clear to the recipient that we got them in the sale therfore being cheap:eek: bless her she was very young only a weekend sa and doesn't know the joys of money saving.

I have asked before but london girls which is the best store to go to? I won't have chance for my london boots tour after all but will get chance to go to at least one.

Just tried the mother pucker and my lips are on fire i don't like the feeling at all, it almost like pins and neddles in my lips glad i didn''t pay £8 for it
