Call customer service! Someone on here got a great deal after complaining (full refund of purchase even though this was the free gift, and some other stuff). Today I called and was told I could return the free sample from the gift with product and exchange for something for 7.50. I'm going to call later and hopefully a different sales person will do more, as I'd love the full refund, etc.! If nothing else, you should be able to get a different type of mascara.
Lucky you got that,I was told as it was a free gift it could just be a reaction and didnt mention loads of people had complained!Told me i could take it to no.7 to send onto them but thats all!I think i might return it and try to get 7.50hthZoe2020 Jan: storage box,£150 pots & pans, £50 restaurant voucher, dining experience,19 tubes of Pringles Feb: £50 food giftcard,0 -

Quick question for all you experts- has the 342 on 17 now finished? The last two stores i've been in haven't had this promotion on?

:rotfl: Seriously, I hate it when that till beeps, but like the other range that beeps
it might be worth a quick phone call.
. It wouldn't be so bad, but instead of nicely saying "Oh I'm really sorry about that, I can't take that coupon", they make you feel like you are trying to rip Boots off :rotfl: and sort of glower at you.

there was no reduced S&G in Durham market place, a few S&G sets still at £7.50 and the hatboxes were still £9. I find it very strange that shops only a few miles apart have different prices!
Had an entertaining day Bootsing. I took my DS along, (20, tall, moody and rather scary eyebrow stud) as he was looking for an electric shaver.
Finally found the clearance stand in Marketplace with a load of S&G Steamy Showers sets £7.50, hatboxes still £9. I don’t understand the pricing policy either
Also asked fragrance counter about Smiley perfume, was told that it was a pharmacy item but in larger stores only.
The best bit was being followed throughout by a security guard, I think this was due to DS, eyebrow stud and his interest in the expensive shavers, “£169.99, they are having a laugh at that price!” As we passed him for the last time DS remarked loudly “Maybe the carpet carrier could do with some of that Smiley stuff”. Love that expression, not sure if it’s just a northern one but it suited the guy perfectly! :rotfl:
Loads of odds and ends in the Arnison Centre clearance, got a few Naked bits and pieces. Returned a clearance 17 foundation from the other day as I had been charged full price, intended to use it again on the 17 341 but it wouldn’t go through as it was “old clearance”, found when I got home that SA had put it in my bag regardless so I actually got 441. :j Think this was also due to the DS effect on young pretty SA.
S&G bags in Arnison Centre but SEL said £2.50 so didn't bother.
I couldn’t get any more S&G vouchers from the ACM today, thought I had used up my allocation but tried DS brand new card and there were none for her either. I’m wondering if the offer has been taken off the ACM, I hope not. :eek:0 -
I checked and double checked today. There were no 'promotional posters' where the 17 stuff was displayed. I think there was 342 on Loreal or Maxfactor or something (I can't remember which) but definitely not 17. I wish I'd have checked the display for the lip glosses now !
I'm off to Worthing branch shortly so i'll have a good looksie and see what the score is. I might ask SA if promotion has finished and see what their reply is. Will let everyone know how it goes !:jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j0 -

I use them all the time, they do feel very tingly and a bit sticky but I love them & they last for ages, not like some lip glosses which you put it on & it's gone after you lick your lips or have a drink. The Perfect peach one is in the Glowing out Gift Kit @ £10 which is a bargain , Baby Doll is another really nice shade. I would highly recommend them. The vouchers can only be used against the Spa (blue) items though, not the pink range.0 -
Thanks to everyone for the kind messages :A you are such a caring bunch:D
Hi, Sally, thanks for taking the time to let us know what your eye problems are. Hope you'll be able to get treated swiftly so you can relax a bit - and get back to the serious business of Bootsing (just to try to keep on topic!) Take care!0
