What a carry a blooming carry on. & Passion dearest you started this:rotfl: [snipped]

Ruby - just for starters - and if you haven't already - calm down, put your feet up, and take deep breaths :)

The Sanctuary offers/vouchers are becoming a bit of a personal bugbear to me, and is one of the reasons I received the 'compensation' points. (Remember rubylou, I said just one of the reasons ;)).

Despite already being compensated for the vouchers not being accepted, it happened to me again last week in PC. (I can't remember which day, but it was the day I posted that the SA overrode the till for the Boots Expert Range, but refused point blank for the Sanctuary voucher. So, with blood pressure at boiling point  :), went to KR and had a word with No7 SA and she in turn had a word with the manageress, just in case there was any confusion when I put any Sanctuary stuff through the till.

I was so fed up of those vouchers, that I bought two bars of soap - when I didn't even want two bars of soap! But the staff couldn't have been nicer in KR. I should add that one of the GWP vouchers sounded like yours - cut off, the other was in a booklet form.

In PC, they disregarded the fact that I told them I'd already had one problem with it, tried to fob me off by saying it was for the sets only, and I gave up the will to shop there! ;) There's some SA's that I can't be bothered to stand and argue with, even though I KNEW I was right. Phew ....lol, and as tempting as it was to mail CS - I didn't, as I had yet *another* complaint pending. Personally rubylou, I also think that the SA's in W. were wrong too!

The complaint that I had pending was resolved a couple of days ago, and it was over an online delivery.

Rather than mail CS, I rang and asked how I stood about returning something that was damaged to a local store. I was told that was fine. I explained that I'd tried to return an item once before and it had been refused. Bearing in mind that I've got a round trip of over 30 miles to return it, I was just a bit more than annoyed when I had to return home with the first item.

I think the CS person could sense that I was being given the runaround, and told me to keep the items. As this wasn't the point I was trying to make, being that this was the 3rd online delivery I'd had where items were damaged or broken, I told them that I was taking the whole of the delivery back to a store, which I subsequently did. The SA could see at a glance what had happened, asked was there anything I would like to keep from the parcel, and I said two of the cheap but undamaged items, and I was given them for free.

One of these items was heavy and was probably responsible for the damage to the more expensive items. But she put them in a bag for me, I got them home, and the heavy item was not only leaking, but it had damaged the other item!!

These wild goose chases have cost me time and money, but in return Boots have given me refunds for the damaged goods, and sent free replacements where possible. I've also had the 'compensation' points I mentioned. So all in all, they've had to refund me approximately £50 in money, £10 in points, and goods to the value of more than £50... if my estimates are right.

And I *still* haven't complained about my latest wild goose chase because I can't bring myself to mail or phone yet again about those flaming Sanctuary vouchers, or yet more damaged goods!!

Now pass me those headache tablets please :D and good to see you got at least one bargain :D (I'd mention the £3 off that you never got, but I just can't bring myself to type the name of that range  again. ;))

    Cya soon x

P.S. *Jelly Tots* The inconsistencies over the Expert range are my second bugbear, and if I buy an item from that range, at a reasonable price, and the till isn't adjusted manually, I'll definitely be making another phone call to CS!

Bye for now ...I'm off to find a blindfold and a dark room ;) :rotfl:

I'd do all the checking instore kirstle. Some people are able to use the voucher despite the current % off, and some can't. And some lucky people :T are finding stuff among the Clearance and still using the voucher :)

I tried to use the voucher today when I bought some post pregnancy shampoo but the till said no. The SA was very good and tried it for me! I didn't really expect it to work though it was reduced to 34p:rotfl:

S&G bags going through at £2.50 at Newbury Retail :(

Expert points have to be added manually but the lady serving is lovely and just tells someone else to add them on :) I bought the scar serum (still £3.99)

I had to return a bottle of P&P today cos it had gone runny almost overnight. It is kept in my top drawer, so in the dark and cool. The No7 lady there is really nice and couldn't understand how it had happened but replaced it with another one without any problem.

I haven't worn the Dream Lashes mascara very often but the couple of times I have I have noticed my eyes are really itchy. I think I might phoned CS - I think the more people mention it, the sooner Boots might realise there is a problem with it (maybe the formulation :S)

My kids have decided that the love the S&G Jam Session so another bottle was bought today with 400 points :)

Yes thanks ;) I seem to get more annoyed at other peoples' complaints than my own lol. I very rarely use this icon -> or use the exclamation marks too much!!!!!!! :rotfl:

there was no reduced S&G in Durham market place, a few S&G sets still at £7.50 and the hatboxes were still £9. I find it very strange that shops only a few miles apart have different prices!
