Just to report that I have tried 2 different shops this morning and S&G bags are going through at 2.50 so needless to say I didnt get them
Orange S&G still £5 and not reduced hatboxes still £9 but managed to get the JF brunette hair glaze for £1.74 so got 4 free with the £2 vouchers.
Also exchanged some No7 bath stuff (big peachy tube) for a steamy shower set so all in all a good ittle shop.0 -
What a carry a blooming carry on. & Passion dearest you started this:rotfl:
Went to Kingston retail to get the Sanctuary moisturiser in clearance 4 left grabbed them brill bargain for me. Also was returning the No7 mascara after reports on here. Returned this had receipt but not really needed with no problem. Used this return against sanctuary stuff again no problem so far. No gwp's in stock entitled to 2 so lost out there. Handed over my £3 off voucher till did usual beep SA said voucher could only be used against body products. i said you what I have been told only used against skin care wish you lot would make your minds up. You change the goal posts has you go along. Shall I get someone sa says no I said can't be tossed to argue.
Off I goes to whitefriargate got 3 naked handwashes for £2 each and troops off to PC should have gone straight home!!
Purchases more Sanctuary stuff and gets a gwp hands over £3 again. Till beeps sa says you can only use against skin care stuff. She accuses me of cutting off the relevant information. So I bite through plastic of my new gwp and open it up at the till infront of everyone. No bloody coupon or anything inside feeling like a criminal now. Expains what has just happened at Kingston and asks her to read voucher. Sha now agrees my stuff should go through and gets someone to over ride the till. Gets home looks at receipt and I've paid for my gwp plus £2.25 more than I should have done one of my products is missing of receipt. & £3 voucher never came off pmsl usual !!!!!!! numpties
Just got off phone from CS
Going to get some headache tablets brb x0 -
I'd do all the checking instore kirstle. Some people are able to use the voucher despite the current % off, and some can't. And some lucky people :T are finding stuff among the Clearance and still using the voucher0

Nothing to report here today. In fact they had nothing at all in the Boots in the next town from me:rolleyes: . A fairly big store as well so I won't be going back there ! They had no GWPs, a reduced stand that had about 3 items on it (and they looked like they had been dragged through a hedge, stamped on and thrown about the floor!), no gift sets or much else really.
Off to Worthing tomorrow to have a looksie (anyone been there before?). I think half the battle is finding a good store that has plenty of stock and nice SA.
Quick question for all you experts- has the 342 on 17 now finished? The last two stores i've been in haven't had this promotion on?

The maxfactor mothers day gwp goes through for free as well so got one for my daughter . I keep on seeing gift bags beside the maxfactor stuff with whatlooks to be a black evening bag thing and brushes in. Are these past gwp . Tempted to pick one up and try to see if go free.Any ideas?
Does the current Max Factor GWP go through for free without buying any Max Factor items ??? (Ooooooooh!!!).
Has anyone else tried this ???
Thanks x0 -
Morning everybody! Feedback from boots for no7 gwp mascara.
I had a phonecall this morning from boots customer service about the reaction that I and alot of other people have had. They are looking into it but it may take a while before they can find out exactly what is causing these reactions but they will be contacting me as soon as they have news. They have apologised and have given me a full refund of the value of the items I purchased on the day to get the gwp even though I used vouchers-£10.25 for the no7 skin spritz & £10.25 for the highlights powder and they are sending me a no7 giftcard to buy another mascara with.I thought this was really generous as I had used the free mag & £5 no7 voucher but apparently the lovely man on the phone said the vouchers are classed as cash.
I actually just called, too. I was told to take the mascara back to a store, tell them what happened, and I can exchange it for any other item at the same value. I said it was free with a gift, but he said the value was £7.50. I don't know if it has to be No7, actually, but I'm assuming it does? Anyone know of a good, irritation-free No7 mascara for around £7.50?
I've just looked and they seem to have nothing less than £10 with No7, maybe I can get another brand? Any recommendations?0 -

I just bought some of the hair glaze at full price (using the £2 voucher, of course). But still, I paid something like £2.54 out of pocket. It's really insane the way Boots operates; you'd think it would be easy to charge the same price across the board!0
