I've had another good day! :D

Got 4 Soap & Glory Clean Of England Body Washes at 1.25 each. I used the 200 points from hb mag & 200 points from acm on each of them so 1600 points for a £5.00 spend! :T

    Well done! :D

Have these only just been reduced or is it certain store only as I bought this on Tuesday & it was still full price

I am the same as you Clare; no bargains like the other girls find at my local (Cribbs). I thought I would try Emersons Green yesterday to see if that was the same ... it was!! . I walked every ailse and no bargains at all.

Cribbs .... cannot find a reduced shelf for love nor money.

Not sure why this is Clare, but think maybe as it is a quite large store and people travel to the Mall from all over than they keep their prices high.

I had my best Bootsing in the Sales after Xmas so think I shall just have to wait for those to come round again.

Should also mention that the No7 SA (Cribbs) is totally lovely; have been served by her twice and she has put through my vouchers with no problems at all. She looks a bit scary though :o ... but as we know we cannot judge a book by its cover :). I am so glad that I went to her last week now as she remembered me and we had a nioce chat.

I will post up or PM you when I see any bargains .... ;)

Thanks for the info, Babe1.Might give the No7 SA a try next time - I take it you mean the "Main" one as there often seem to be about 3 of them on that counter!!
I've seen a few clearance things at the end of the aisles near the photo counter, but it has all just been tat! And sometimes they have more stuff down where the sun creams are now. It would be great to find some of the gift sets our fellow Bootsers are enjoying, though! Good luck!:)

I've only found them reduced in one of the three stores i've been into today so not sure if all stores will reduce them eventually. Fingers crossed they will!

    Broclo,
I've just seen this mail stats page on the postpals website http://www.postpals.co.uk/mailstats.php
So everytime someone sends a card or letter or gift, they enter it on that page. That way everyone can see how many items of post each child has received, like you suggested.
This is such a super idea- some of the children's profiles bought tears to my eyes. I will definitely be sending a few little parcels.

Wow, that is easily missed! I just got ready a few parcels and pulled the c/o addresses from the site, but never saw that!

I do not think I will be able to maintain sending cards etc to these children, so was just going to pop a pressie in the post to a few who match the spare gifts I have in my house. If anyone is the same, then maybe we could do a list on here? Maybe then if anyone wants a post pal they can use the websites form? I guess I just would like a child to smile briefly, but can not say that I will be able to keep in touch as I already do this with a few children from another local charity and help on fun days etc.

I do not have to buy any easter eggs this year, so was thinking i may send some of those too s cheap this year and nothing to post etc

Anyway, sorry for yakking on the boots thread everyone!
    Naughty I know!

Had to go for an eye test today (really bad news:( but I won't bore you with the details) I decided to go bootsing to make myself feel better. Loads of hatboxes @ 4.50. Wasn't tempted though - xmas one is nicer. No S&G sets, they must've all gone:mad: They had loads the other day when they were 7.50. Sale section was rubbish as per usual - Luton branch.

DD got an ACM voucher today for 5.00 off digital processing WYS 10.00. I have a 2.00off WYS 10.00ACM voucher + 3.00off mag voucher. I wonder if I could get 10.00 worth of pics for free. Will have to go to my fav SA for this to work:D

pollsdolls, thanks for the tip regarding e-bay:A I hadn't thought of looking on there. TBH I am not really sure how e-bay works:o I've never bought/sold anything on e-bay. Do I need to open a paypal account?

I'm glad my resignation letter made you all smile. Sadly, after thinking it through, I've decided not to hand it in. My plan was flawed - if I don't have a job to earn money - I'd have to spend my points! Noooo!

Does anyone else feel like points are the absolute last resort. I hate paying with them, even though it makes sense sometimes!
I don't believe in doing things the easy way..... :)

I just got a Philips sonicare e5400 marked down in the clearance section to £10 - I think they were around £50 originally. They had 4 or 5 of them in Boots on Glasgow Sauchiehall Street, the girl behind the counter said she's bought one for her mum!
I got 2 today. Didnt think there would be any left and was sooooo pleased. They are still £35 in Buchnan Galleries.
    So thanks Bexter!
