Discodee...I am shocked you do not know, you brain box!

Urea is a natural waste product that is excreted by the kidneys and sweat glands, so yes urea is in wee and sweat. For face creams etc they do not sit in labs harvesting rat wee, they use synthetic urea.

This is made from ammonia(derived from coal or other hydrocarbons such as natural gas and petroleum-derived raw materials) and carbon dioxide.

Upto 5% urea in products is beneficial to the skin, especially for dry skin conditions. However a 40% urea cream is manafactured to actually remove dead finger and toe nails, so it is pretty strong stuff.

Although urea is very beneficial to dry skin conditions, it should be advoided if any area are broken as it is technically an irritant. Most face creams contain some urea, I myself can only use creams with a low urea content as it is an irritant to my sensitive facial skin and will cause it to go red and tingle.

Um....back on topic....go to boots to get your synthetic pee pee cream today

Oops just noted your far more knowledgeable reply!!! :rotfl:

    Hi all

Received 2 deliveries today (incl a Lancome gift bag and BAFTA gift with each). In one order the 2 Lancome items weren't shipped - just the 3rd item and 2 Lancome gifts. Shipment note said that the items were cancelled. Called CS to double check I wouldn't be charged and they said that Boots.com were looking at a reserve system whereby if the shipment was incomplete they would send what they had and the rest when it becomes available ("like what amazon does" I said, "yes but we are not that big so we are still working it out" he says).

Although it would have been nice to have the 2 items, I do get to keep the 1000 pts - so spent 7.00, got 2 Lancome gifts and 1000 bonus points.

So in future, all our toys orders should be safe!

Oh yes, and received one Palmolive shower creme in one box but not the other.

I haven't been bootsing since last week and didn't notice any S&G bags then. NettieNoo or Amelia's Mummy might know though. I'm catching up on the posts before bed so sorry if they've already mentioned it.
I have not seen any on my local travels, I think nettienoo asked for them in Bromborough ~ they had them but wasn't 'allowed' one !

Was itching to tell three young women about the lipgloss offer and the 3 for 2 offer on no 17 today. Shame to see them wasting the oppurtunity of a freebie but more often than not have been made to feel like I'd grown two heads when tried to help before.
The maxfactor mothers day gwp goes through for free as well so got one for my daughter . I keep on seeing gift bags beside the maxfactor stuff with whatlooks to be a black evening bag thing and brushes in. Are these past gwp . Tempted to pick one up and try to see if go free.Any ideas?
