Kinda feeling low tonight, just feel like my husband is bleeding me dry of money. Not content with getting himself into a financial mess (before we met) he is trying to drag me down with him.

I swear sometimes I feel like packing it all in and moving back home.

Its a bit worrying that you say 'moving back home'. Normally when you marry your home is the one where you live with your husband? When I divorced after 21 years my mother said 'you'd better come home' and I was very upset by that because she didn't recognise that I had made my own home and my own life and hers was no longer mine!

Bless you that must be a nightmare, my OH used to be useless with money but thankfully we both got hooked on MSE at the same time.

He actually discovered the site first and told me to have a look but at the time the internet wasn't my thing, but I loved to read, so he brought me a Martin book and that was my introduction.

If your husband is a book, telly, or internet person try and introduce him to it through his favourite media.

If you have already tried this then please tell me to shut up and mind my own business but I still send hugs :grouphug:

I get what you are saying but I also say I am going home meaning back down South, because I live up north very happily with my lovely husband and our house is my home but I still (and always will) think of the South as home.

    Does that make sense?

Hey, noticed a few people speaking about doing surveys and bingo for making extra money...
..can someone point me in the right direction for getting started on these?
Do i need to have a PayPal account? My bro had some issues with this in the past with someone cracking into his account, so I dont have one!

    Thanks!
    xx

I'm not saying you should do this, but I dumped my boyfriend of 2 years for (among other things) being awful with money. He'd get paid and spend all his money on cd's, dvd's and playstation games (he was 24). This was despite the fact that he had maxed out his credit cards and was being given charges every month.

He had to go, but then I am NOT a patient person and I wasn't married either. Have you talked to him about it?

Yes it does make sense - maybe its a matter of time - I had lived away from 'home' for around 24 years when my mother said I ought to go back 'home' and I just didn't feel that the place where I spent the first 18 years of my life was 'home' any more - it was 'up north' and I was then living 300 miles south of there!

Oh dear I think all this is 'off-topic'!!

Oh dear! When I get payments showing as 'pending' with Paypal it means the buyer has 'paid' but their Paypal makes you wait 10 days for the money to go from their bank into your Paypal. If I were you I would click on the 'pending' bit of your Paypal account to get that 'said' in Paypal lingo, then copy it and paste it into an email to your buyer explaining that you can't post the flute until the money has 'cleared' - otherwise your buyer will start complaining about slow delivery!
