  • Hi,

Sorry to hear you had a bad time with Ann Summers. I was a rep for a while and had to quit as I was moving to a different area. I think the general set up is if you have been there less than a year you have to return your kit - or goods to the value of your kit. I expected this process to be no end of hassle but it was actually really easy. They happily take back demo items, stationery and even your old diary. I kept the best stuff to sell on ebay and just sent back the demo stuff, order books etc. Just give the orderline a call and ask to be put through to leavers department. They send you the paperwork and will pick up the stuff when you are ready. Good luck.
  • whats the process with ann summers, i've fancied becoming an agent for a while, but get all confused re: tax and NI. can anyone assist?

    cheers nutty xx

  • I've been doing Ann Summers for a few months now and I don't pay NI or tax at the moment as a party organiser, I'm not earning enough to justify it. However I am being promoted to UO soon and then I will register as self employed as the earning potential is a lot more. If you want it as a career option then self employment is probably the best bet but if it for just a bit of extra cash I wouldn't bother. If you need anymore info just PM me - it is great fun! :j

What is the criteria for becoming a rep? How is the pay?
    Dooyoo fund: £14.26
    Ciao fund: £2.02
  • No criteria except being female and over the age of 18, no interviews or anything. The pay varies because it is comission based but I make about £50.00 a party - not bad for waving a few naughty things around for two hours ;) if you want anymore info just PM me

  • I did AS too but quit as i had a not very nice manager and couldn't get the parties. I've since joined as a BodyShop at home rep and loving it, so much easier and down to earth and no probs getting parties booked in, plus they give you loads of freebies while AS don't! and i get to keep the kit if i ever leave.

I do Ann Summers and you rent your kit initially for 3.50 a week until you bank just over the 1000 mark; which you can do in a few parties really. The rent stops when you reach this mark and the kit is yours to do with what you like however you have to send a kit back worth the 500.00 that they send
you. Means you don't have to fork out loads for a kit.
    Debt free 2018 :)

Heehee, when I joined the kit was £375 so that's all I need to send back if I ever leave!!!! My kit's currently worth 3 times that amount!

The £375 is minus your 30% disc.... its £500 net you send back! I just quit them for the second time. Its all empty promises and narky managers in my experience, which is a shame as i really enjoyed doing the actual parties!
