Spent the first £25 of this month's money at the farmers' market today. This possibly is a little high, (due to the yummy quiche that we bought ) but we did get a fair amount of meat, veggies etc.Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0

Quick update as I spent another £15.40 this afternoon. That's me done for the week now.
Spent more than I intended but Tesco had their peanut butter reduced to 1/2 price and my kids eat it like there's no tomorrow! Got 10 jars and I've hidden 8 of them away for later this month and next.
Bulk bought the pasta at Nettos too as penne is only 19p pk and so much cheaper than anywhere else I've seen.
Hope everyone elses challenge is going well this month.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

Just updating with the weeks shopping. Hubby went to Mr S today and spent £60.90, which included 4 medium Easter Eggs. They're BOGOF atm. Normally £2 each :j . Forgot to include school dinners from yesterday @ £4.10 for 2, so have now updated that.
<--- this is me this morning when I weighed myself. I lost 3.5 lb and no takeaway last night. We had Pork and pepper stirfry with noodles and there's 2 portions left for tonight.

Well done on the weight loss Purple VampNSD day for me but only because DH had a takeaway
been looking at trying to do a monthly shop and Tesco, this will mean spending £90 out of the budget but they will take me to the end of April. then I should only need to spend about £20 a week on meat and bits. RThat is the logic anywayJanuary Grocery 11/3740
