Grocery delivery is on Saturday between 11 and 1 and I've just been told by my doctor that she can fit me in at noon on Saturday. She'll be away for weeks after that so I've to take the appointment. Luckily, OH has Saturday off and will be able to take delivery. Still - I did so want to be home since it's the first time I've ordered online & I'm afraid they'll ruin my carefully thought out order by sending expensive substitutes.
On the spending side, we ran out of salt last night and OH refused to have his dinner without extra salt. So he went and bought some from the local shop for 69p even though we have salt coming in on Saturday for 42p. Oh well...at least it's not something that will go bad. On the bright side I do like to buy a few things from the local shop - they're a lovely couple and their business has been hit hard by a competing local shop that's undercutting them fiercely. And OH took the garbage out since he was going out for the salt anyway - usually I have to nag at him to do it!Mortgage (original/ current):193,000 (23/09/11)/ £102,500 (07/11/2019)
