Just checking in. I went out for milk yesterday and spent £6.06 :eek:, mostly on rubbish! More focused today, got my fiver haircut and it turned out very well and just walked by the shops:j. NSD today!!!

MrsMcawber wished I live near you your food always sound so good just wanted to add now I have updated total spent quite a large amount but my fridge, freezer and larder are all well stocked so should be able to manage the monthFrugal challenge 2025

I wasn't hungry until I started reading this thread, now I'll have to go and make something delicious to eat too!
March is going pretty well for me so far, no massive spends yet, hoping not to have big spends when the kids break up for Easter. I did get all my Easter Eggs at Sainsbury's a couple of weeks ago £1.99 each BOGOF for the large eggs, so I got everyone theirs then and the spend didn't have to come out of March Money.
I am doing storecupboard this month too as I need to clear the freezer/pantry in anticipation of all the great food I'm going to make in April.
I'm starting to impress myself at becoming more organised and reducing my spending. I love MSE!I won't buy it if I can make or borrow it instead
