Spooky... We are lucky enough not to need me to be as [strike]tight fisted[/strike] sorry frugal as i am being.. But when i think i was spending €450 a month on 2  ..so now, like you i have realised that the money we would have eaten can be better spent elswhere... I popped to the bank yesterday to shove some more of my housekeeping into my savings account and hubby is amazed that since i opened the account on the 7th Jan -we now have €1085 in there :T
We have decided to have 2 weeks in Kefalonia september next yearas reward for being super frugal and as by then i should have finished losing all this blooming weight :j ...

"Shamefacedly creeps back having gone awol for 2 months"
Everything went **** up Jan/Feb so I am quietly slipping in unnoticed at the back, muttering "£350 this month" This is for 3 adults 2 dogs 3 cats & various family gatherings (1st of which is Sun - Mothers Day 9 adults, 1 child & 2 toddlers) what to cook for them that will be frugal & tasty!!
Good luck to all

Hi all, I'm going for £160 again this month, went just over budget in Feb by £3.48, so hopefully this month I can do better. March starts today for us, I've done a massive Tesco shop, £78.54, £5.18 at the butchers and £3.07 on some reduced bits in Morrisons. So that is £86.79 already  But that should last me a good couple of weeks, maybe a bit longer if I'm careful.
