My month started on Monday - and so far I haven't spent anything! :money: I do need to buy some bread flour though, so will probably buy that later today. I'm determined that this month I WILL STICK TO MY BUDGET!!!!!
  • Oh great!

Can I join in please? It'll be my first month on this challenge and I'd like you to put me down for £300.

Was £400 for Jan, managed £335 but had lots left over from Christmas. £355 for Feb, hit it to the pound (was 11p under!) but it was a shorter month. Gonna go for £380 and see how it goes, but that's a totally top figure.

    Hi

Could I join this month please? I kind of did the challenge last month but didn't want to join then as I wasn't sure what we spent etc but I'm pretty sure I can improve on it !

Our budget is £300 for 2 adults, 3 children and a dog (month runs from 25th to 25th -pay dates) so i've already started into the budget (£103.10).

    Good luck everyone !

    Hi,

Im in again for this month, I stopped posting halfway through February but, I did watch what I was spending, and I didnt go over my £200. This month however, the meat supplies are running a little bit low, so, Im going to try for £250.

So, Count me in for £250.

Good luck for March, everyone :)
Going to try really hard to come in on target this time, even allowing for visitors staying at Easter.
I reserve the right not to spend.

  • Thank you MrsM.

I am just re-arranging my menu plan for March as my month started Monday. Am waiting for my huge shop from MrT on Monday and so far (including this shop yet to come) I have spent £140 which isnt bad considering this is everything bar perishable items for the month. Fingers crossed I can stay within budget this month as I went £40 over last month.

    Good luck everyone.
