Teigwarenmehl is pasta flour . Hartweizen is sometimes mentioned on recipes which means 'hard wheat' Hartweizengriess aswell

You'll know if the 'corn flour' is the right one as it'll usually be yellow.

One day I might be more organised...........

• Hi everyone, just dropping in to post my spends, spent £14.77 in Sainsbury. (I'm not counting the fiver I spent on the wrong size hoover bags!! Will have to go back with those.) So £185.23 left.
Gotta work out what is in the freezer other than a lot of ice, and meal plan... starting with homity pie tonight.

I'm not store loyal but I do use all the diff cards as might as well get the pints etc if you are spending there anyway.
I have all the store loyalty cards. I shop in Sainsbury's but will deviate occassionally. I guess that makes me a "card store wh***e" :rotfl:

I think my success depends on meal planning. I have done that this week (*pat on the back for me*:T ). This week we're having:-

Thai Beef stirfry
Tunisian lamb
Hubbys curry (this is so fattening so I'm having something frozen from the freezer - I think it's chilli con carne  )
Stirfry pork with peppers
Chicken, leek and potato pie
Paprika mince

They're all very low fat as I started my diet yesterday. And would you know?, the children got me chocolates for Mothers Day?! I reassured them that I will be able to eat them very soon :rotfl:

I am determined to buy nothing else (bar milk) for a few days!

Feel very domesticated and organised. Have twinks hobnobs in the oven, batter in the fridge for my first ever HM yorkshire puds later on, and a vegetable casserole simmering away on the hob for lunch tomorrow (and a few portions for the freezer. Oh, and tortilla dough in the fridge to make HM wraps for OH to take to work tomorrow, and a layered salad for him also to take to work.

Hi, this is my first challenge. I usually spend just over £100 when I'm being 'good'....so..I'm gonna go for £95. How much do other people spend when buying for one?

Hi all

Well another £9.51 down in Holland and Barrett - this includes the nice veg stock, seeds for my bread and peanuts to have another go at a nutty version of twink's hobnob biscuits. I did debate doing this today but it seemed a very bad idea when DH is away :) I also got a load of radox bath stuff in boots on 2 for 1 but I used my points for this so it was free :)

I also spotted a pretty good offer on loo roll at Dunnes stores (I guess our equivalent of Morrisons?? some of the irish ladies will know) 12 for 9 andrex for £3.39 which seems amazing, so gonna try to get myself over there in a mo - didn't fancy carrying them through town

Jacks stand strong!!! You have to report back to us all remember!!
