  • Morning everyone

I kind of lost track on the last week and ended up over-spending by 6p. I'll need to keep a tighter rein on things in April, on the bright side it could have been much worse:D

MrsM budget £200 spent £200.06. Thanks for looking after the thread this month.

Good luck to evryone still completing March

That is it for me for March, as its payday on Monday and I definately do not need to buy anything else. Next shop is due on Tuesday so that comes out of Aprils budget

So please can you put me down as a March total of 75.53 Mrs M?

Thanks, and well done to everyone for managing to cut down their food shop spends even though prices are rising fast:eek:

I debated whether to post my final total or not - I actually did worse than last month even though I upped the budget to try and balance that overspend out.

I actually ended up spending double my £175 budget - and I really do not know what on.

Ok, so the kids were at home for a week (2 weeks for eldest as he was ill the last week of term) but they've not really been eating that much more (too many eggs, lol), we had a couple of birthdays, but I thought I'd managed to seperate all that out onto a different budget - it's not like we've had excessive treats or fancy food - in fact there have been days where we've just about managed to put a meal together from what's in the house - so all I can say is I have absolutely no idea what happened, but that I will try one last time for April.

    Hi folks

Very boring today I'm afraid. Went to Tesco Metro this AM for veggies and spent £6.72 but that included 6 eggs and value porridge oats. The later is for bulking out shepherds pie etc. Thanks for those OS gals who suggested this.

Mrs Mc. In view of the price increases in food in this area I am going back to a budget of £55 per week. Please put me down for an April budget of £ 236.

Final spend for March is £258
. Somewhat over budget but what the heck. Life's too short to worry about such mundane matters. Oh dear! I can hear the DW revving up her 100bhp whacking stick :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

I'm declaring my March total, as I've just spent £5 exactly on milk, bread and cheese and dropped the change in the charity bucket at the checkout.

Final total for this month: £99.52 :j

Onwards and upwards, April is calling, don't forget to turn your clocks forward before bed tonight and I'll see you all over in the April GC thread. :)
I reserve the right not to spend.
