Hmm, lost my collection of receipts during the month:o , so don't really know how much I spent:eek: ... But I do know it was under budget, cos I still have money in the bank;) ! lol
Probably spent about £200 ish, so that's what I will be declaring.

I am in again for April - going for £200 this month!

Just been for my big once a month trip to all the major supermarkets nearby. Usually would do this on Monday, but as the boys are on holiday for two weeks, I did it today. Alone. Still spent £111.63 though:rolleyes: , which is a scary amount, compared to what I have been spending weekly, but there's at least 20 day's worth of meat and loads of baking stuff and the freezer is totally full so I am feeling confident! SO all I need are bread, milk and fruit and veg.

I now have to make up a meal plan, but am starting to get a bit tired of it. Does anyone else get OS fatigue:confused: ? Needs must though, cos there isn't anything "instant" in the kitchen it all requires making, and that takes forethought. So gotta get on with it.

Haven't read the thread for a while so going to catch up now, hope everyone managed to keep to their budgets and see you all next month  .

I have been a bit naughty this month and been a little lazy with regard to keeping my signature updated!

My spend this month is £254.58

I don't think I will have to spend anymore now, so I will call that as my final amount!

I'm in for April £180 for the month (£45 each week) for 2 adults, 5 children and 2 dogs - also to include all toiletries and cleaning items.

  • Woohoo!!!I did it.Under budget, just, for the first time this year.
Total spend for March was £225.22
We were still naughty and had take-away once and hubby is off work this week and we have had breakfast out 4 times,Yikes!!!
We have to do even better for April as we have had some unexpected bills so no actual wages cash left for food at all until next pay day,April 28th.We are going to try to survive on the child benefit and tax credit money alone,so under £30 a week.
