I've overspent again....but am still quite pleased as I'm spending less than I used to even though prices are going up. So I've decided to increase my budget to £370 for April.

    Hi everyone,

well today will be a NDS for me, but, I will definetly need to go shopping tomorrow. There is stuff in for DH and me, but, nothing that the kids will eat, so, I will just do my big shop tomorrow.

Mrs M, I can declare my March total as £153.99:j :j

I had set my total for march as £250 cos I thought I would have to buy meat, however, there was actually more in the freezer & cupboards that I thought, so, thats why Im so low this month.

A big thank you to each and every one of you for all your ideas, and encouragement. I couldnt have done it without you all.

    Jackie xx

After failing all this year i am possitive april will be my month :D so starting tomorrow for the april challange(scary typing April where are the months going)i will have £60 per week to feed us on (2 adults maybe 3 but not sure yet and 4 children) as usual freezers and cupboards are all full(am ashamed to admit i have not looked in small freezer for at least a month so don't know what is in it:confused:will spend some time tonight trying to do a meal plan for the next few weeks with what i have in) the budget will include toiletries and cleaning stuff and i will keep the money in it's own little purse to try and curb any extra spending.
  • Hi Mrs M, could I please report a very successful £246.65 spend in March.

My freezer is full to bursting with home cooked batch meals and I'm raring to go for April.
