    Hi everyone

oh dear fairly big 'failure' - final total £152.67 against a goal of £130 - again nothing much to shout about :) but in my defence I did stock in a load of stuff. And catered dessert for an unexpected Easter party which did probably cost around £15. Also Easter turned into a big eat-athon which did not help the diet any....

    Here's to a better April...

But at least we are all trying which is half the battle,so NOT a failure at all.

Just done the final somes - Target was £800 (High but that was a reduction on average for 2007). Delighted to report £723.

I have set myself a really stiff target for April £595, but to be honest if I hit £6xx I will be delighted
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine

logging on - I had to think long and hard which words I used!!

March Challenge - failed by £39.68, but at least the positive side is that I'm thinking about what I am buying and it's a fantastic reduction on this time last year.
I tip all my change out of my purse at the end of the week and put it towards the sealed pot challenge, so that's increasing nicely - saving for a no 'overspend' Christmas.
I'm off to update my signiture and find the April challenge
January food 175.00 spent 181.60 oops nothing left. £4000 challenge/3384.49 left
    heating oil £396.69,

There is a April 2008 Grocery Challenge thread started. I say started there are about 27 pages of it already. I dont know how to paste in a link. Not very tech minded, but if you type it into the search forums you should find it.
Good luck you will become hooked on sorting things out.
