Are we saying how much for April then? I'd like to stay at £280 for April please as it's a holiday month for us - and when I'm home I spend more than when I'm in work! Not done too badly this month as haven't gone over (yet!) and have had DS and family to stay over this past w/e. Not sure yet when they're going home!Resolution:

Hello!
Just had a really nice thing happen...:j
Yesterday was my birthday, my neighbour, not knowing this, had done an accidental over order on tesco value bananas online. She wanted 9 bananas, so added 9 KG of bananas to her trolley! Oooops.
She was sweet enough to pop round with a kilo for us.;)
So, I've just made 2 tubs of banana and cinnamon ice-cream and 4 loaves of banana bread!
Good times!:T
And a little freebie birthday pressie for me. Think St. Martin must've been smiling on me. Although I wish they'd take those scary teeth off his pic...
Hang in there peeps, nearly the end of the month...
I really like this thread, and find you all very inspiring.

By the skin of my wotsits I have succeeded in the NSDs planned Friday - Monday. Planned lasagne for dinner tonight, found I only had 4 sheets, no pasta flour, argh!! So found some canneloni pasta, part cooked it, sliced it so it opened up and flattened them
talk about pushing it :rotfl:I was just so bloomin' determined to 1) not have to leave the house in the snow
and 2) spend anything today!!!
Now trying to think of a nice desert to do, I've found some cooking apples in the bottom of the fridge, I actually can't remember buying them, so maybe something with those, crumblemaybe, see if I have enough stuff in for the topping.
One day I might be more organised...........

Whoops, gome over my budget this month but it is the first time this year so not going to beat myself up about it.
Bought a bread maker in Tesco's today for under £25 hoping this will help me save more money next month.Sealed Pot Challenge #6010
