  • Also wanted to add, Thanx Nikki for the millionaire's shortbread recipe, will be making that tomorrow, and someone suggested adding peppermint essence to the topping, will be trying that too as I love anything with peppermint in lol. Thanx so much to everyone, all this cooking and baking is really helping me to stick to things as it's such a high to make things from scratch and I so enjoy eating them, thanx. It's such an inspiration. It's taking the boredom out of eating the same stuff all the time. Thanx.

We did the roast chicken dinner thing yesterday when I had one person extra to feed (he did sweep the chimney and clean the blocked drain first :D ), so we are having stir fried chicken with chow mein noodles tonight,
    or maybe chicken curry,
    or sweet & sour,
or chicken & fried rice... umm... anyone?
I am the most indecisive person I know! :o
Whatever happens, we're having chicken tonight.:rotfl:
And I have a jelly setting, will probably have that with tinned fruit.
Oh! But I have some sponge and a tub of UHT cream and could make a trifle!!
 There's some ham soup left in the fridge!
Don't you just hate when you get into the frugal throws of domesticity and end up with too much choice and combinations of stuff to be used up? It looks like an uber-frugal Sunday and it'll HAVE to be a 3 course dinner! :o
