i think CAB will involve home work and will be a steep learning curve anyhow.... i think OU could wait personally.
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

There's another one in November apparently but was hoping to have my CAB training done by then and they think I'm doing this course as well as my training.

What's the potential homework-load from your CAB training? And how much home study would the OU require, and would you really have enough child-free time to do both lots properly with Argos & Ann Summers and have "Sar & Ste" time too?

    Is they the CAB..?

Would you have got the CAB training if you weren't doing the OU course?

My gut feeling is that you should wait. Not because I don't think you can handle it, because I'm sure you could. But going back to work is going to be a bit of a culture shock in itself (tell me about it...), and then you are going to be studying with the CAB as well, plus you will be leaving your girls for the first time. None of these are bad things (well, leaving the girls wont be easy at first, but will be a positive move), but put them together, they add up to quite a big change.

I would be tempted to see how things are working out before you add a bit more work and stress on top.

But that's just me, and I'm intrinsically lazy, so........:o :rotfl:

Yes. Well I told them at the interview that I was doing it... she didn't say if it was a deciding factor though.. I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem to just say the start dates been put back til november or something..

One can spread oneself too thinly between things.....and you would want to do your very best at everything, especially Sar & Ste time if you've got Ann Summers stuff to practise with! :p
