Thanks guys that means a lot.

In happier news I'm up to 2 bookings with my ann summers now. :)

I don't know much about Ann Summers parties but I imagine how much stuff you actually sell is partly down to how discretely people can order.
If you want a "giant-my-husband-is-inadequate-and-I'm-a-bit-filthy" type order you'd be more likely to make one if you gave out envelopes (even made a point it's confidential) so there isn't a pile of forms all their friends rifle through. Perhaps give out some business cards and addressed envelopes so the shy ones (they are always the one's to watch) can place an order at a later date if they want. Are you allowed to go off format, most men would quite happily buy their wife a gift-voucher for Ann Summers but going in the shop and choosing a present - well a bit scary  , perhaps advertise "£50 worth of goods voucher and a private party" i.e. you'd go round to their house for an hour to demonstrate/take the order knowing guaranteed £50 worth of sales (only would work if commission is 25% I guess though).

I was actually considering something like 'treat your wife to an Ann summers party and get a free bottle of wine' like snaggles suggested or something.. trouble is we're a bit late for valentines/mothers day... you are right about the envelope thing... would be an idea to pass some a4 envelopes around with the order forms at parties so that they can be confidential if they wish. Good idea thanks!

One I went to played a game with marshmellows (very cheap) where you had to shove them in your mouth and not swallow or chew and say something... can't remember the phrase. Was hilarious.
And I don't think you're allowed to supply alcohol, the host can but you can't - legal reasons.
