Hi there,
I am self employed as a delivery driver so my hours are all over the place! My saving grace is batch cooking on a weekend and freezing, I just would not be able to cope otherwise. The main thing is PLANNING, that is the biggy, I always have to plan all my meals in advance. Good luck!!

I'm starting a new job on monday, and I plan to pre-cook and freeze some meals.. get them out in the morning and then they are ready for tea time..
Otherwise, plan ahead what I will be cooking and make sure I have it all in the house ready to make when I get home.
If I don't do this then it will be expensive meals out and takeaways, which is not good for my bank accountBSC Member 155

I love u lot on the OS board.
I will try to come onto the board a bit more frequently.
i think I have alot to learn, meal planning is the first stop I think.
Any else I should consider. Ellybelx0 -
Welcome Ellybel
I would suggest doing one thing at a time, seeing if it works for you, for example meal planning which works for many but there are many others who it doesn't work for.
My first key area to becoming more OS was waste reducing, I started with listing everything I threw away, looking for ways (mainly on here) to rescue/use it and when I worked out what it was worth that scared me into changing that habit!
I've been a FT Mam/Carer for several years, also currently studying for a degree aswell as too much voluntary work for my own good! I usually 'work' more hours per week than I would if I was 'employed' full time. One day I might be more organised...........
