They will try to say all these points are covered by the terms and conditions . These should form part of and attached to the agreement . This is where these early application and agreement fall short of the requirements of the CC ACT . These loopholes were corrected in the revised CC ACT OF 2007 .

Send the letter, NUFC, it is fine although, personally I would be inclined to send the letter that weller has included in her post. Either way, you must pursue this to the end.
    Good luck.

I just wanted to thank all the posters on this thread. I have read and received so much information about dealing with DCA's. I had no idea that what they were doing was for the most part underhand. I have sent 3 letters demanding my CCA's and to date none of them have been able to provide me with the information.

Unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances I was not able to pay what I owed on time therefore defaulted on the accounts. I have no objection to paying what I owe but everytime I received a letter from a DCA the amount had gone up.

Once again thank you all for the advice and information.:o

Went against my own advice and phoned a DCA . I withheld my number ! I had pointed out ,for a second time , that I had not recieved a legable copy of a CCA . A " manager " had writtin in may , noting my complaint and stated they were requesting a response from the OC . Heard nothing then got another "letter before action ". So I tried calling this " MANAGER" was put through to a operater who did not have a copy of the letter her "manager " had sent . So a waste of a phone call ! So its letters only from now on .
