  • Yes keep everything if you can that way you can provide it if need be, if they dispute the content of a corispondence for example

I've sent all three letters off and not had a response, what do I do now? I don't want them to sell the debt on and have to go through it all again.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

    Letters to send for CCA

Once you send the letters to the DCA, you need to follow through with contacting the organisations mentioned in the letters. It may seem a bit useless as there isn't much they can do but if a debt is sold or passed on while it is in dispute, there is yet another letter you can send which fermi has quoted in that template thread - post 8

Thanks for that George, I only sent the last letter last week so I'll give them another week to respond and then start reporting them.

  • After receiving letter off Moorcroft with returned £1 saying they cannot locate the CCA form Argos account and to send request to Argos, I have today received a letter off Moorcroft saying they are willing to accept £60 a month (enclosed a slip for payment) but it must be returned by next wed by 10am or legal proceedings will commence, now I dont want to ignore them again as I went by the book re my NEXT account with them and despite not presenting me with a CCA i am now facing a ccj!! Firstly before i ring them saying i cannot afford £60 a month, I really want to know how they take this further as they have not returned a CCA to me and how do I make them accept a lower monthly payment?
