I've received copies of my credit card statements from Cahoot today with what looks like a standard letter about claiming back bank charges. They also thank me for the £10 (?what £10) I sent a £1 postal order. 12+2 up on Tuesday.
Looks like they have got your request muddled up with a SAR, which is often used to get the details of charges in a reclaim and costs £10.

Sounds about 'par for the course', suz. Just ignore it and send the 12+2 day letter, that you will find in the following link:

Yet another attempt to divert your attention away from their legal obligations, am.
You are under no obligation whatsoever to enter into any dialect with them. They, however, are under a legal obligation to provide you with a true copy of the original signed consumer credit account.
The 'contents' of their 'letter' are irrelevant to your request for the cca.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.

I've had the same letter from Moorcroft and ignored it. Several weeks later I've heard nothing from them and they are now 3+ months past the date they should have supplied the CCA by.0

Hi all,
Sent some CCA requests last month, the 12+2 day point is next week. Had in the post 2 replies, one sent special delivery! But, this one has no CCA in it! It has a copy of my application form but there are no terms and conditions. Basically it does not have a reverse side where the T&Cs I take it uually are. There was a letter with it and it says that they cannot find the 'executed legal agreement' and will send a copy when they find it.
The other one looks pretty genuine though. Looking at it for the first time the only thing I could fault with it is I couldn't see a signature or stamp by the bank. Looking more carefully I spotted a signature at the top of the page with a printed date by it. But it's just there IYSWIM.
Can anyone advise what I should be really looking for?0 -
I sent MBNA a CCA request and they sent back our cc application form. They have now issued CCJ papers so I will be sending in a defense. Has anyone gone this far? If so, what defense did you use? The T&Cs they sent were on a separate sheet of paper and have a different form number to the application form.
Can anyone help?

I also sent Cahoot CCA request and they have sent nothing except my £1.00 postal order saying they don't charge for that information (they don't provide it either!). Who do I need to write to and what do I say to report that they haven't sent CCA?

I have also received back CCJ paper from MBNA, Now my problem is if they do have my CCA I will end up with a CCJ, and I bet the judge will order me to repay more than I am currently repaying on my DMP which I can't afford, this it turn will annoy other creditors and I could easily end up with a dozen CCJ's if this back fires.
Any advice appreciatedThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
